CONTRACTS

NAVY

Harris Corp. RF Communications Division, Rochester, N.Y., is being awarded a maximum $75,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract for High Frequency Manpack Radios (HFMR) (AN/PRC-150C), components, spares, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training. Work will be performed in Rochester, N.Y. (85 percent) and various training locations to include East-CONUS, West-CONUS, and OCONUS (15 percent), and is expected to be completed March 2009. Contract funds will not expire during the current fiscal year. This contract is a sole source award to Harris Corp. RF Communications Division. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity (M67854-05-D-7015).

Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded a $12,703,294 firm fixed price contract for production of MK 48 Guided Missile Vertical Launch (GMVLS) Evolved SEASPARROW Missile (ESSM) Ordnance Alteration (ORDALT) support and test equipment, updated technical documentation, training, and associated material. The contract will provide ORDALT upgrades to modify existing Japanese MK 48 GMVLS units to launch ESSMs. The NATO SEASPARROW Consortium is a NATO Cooperative Project that includes the United States and 11 other countries. This procurement is being awarded in support of the Government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, R.I. (60 percent) and Sudbury, Mass. (40 percent), and is expected to be completed by July 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024‑05‑C-5483).

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded an $8,379,903 cost-plus-award-fee delivery order against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00019-04-G-0007) to exercise an option to provide continued flight test and data integration efforts for the MV-22. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in September 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Exxon Mobil Fuels Marketing Co., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a maximum $32,306,080 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for USG of EN590 and EN 228 for Foreign Military Sale to Israel. Work will be performed at Baytown Texas Refinery in Baytown, Texas. Performance completion date is Dec. 31, 2005. There were eight proposals solicited and two responses. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-0451).

AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corp., East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $10,000,000 firm fixed price contract and cost-plus fixed-fee contract to provide for advanced procurement for forty-eight Lot 6 F119 engines and associated support. At this time, $4,185,496 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by January 2008. Solicitation began August 2004. The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8611-05-C-2851).
