CONTRACTS

ARMY

Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Chantilly, Va., was awarded on April 11, 2005, a $254,486,558 modification to a fixed-price-incentive with award-fee contract for Construction of The Pentagon Wedge 3. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 19, 2001. The Pentagon Renovation and Construction Program Office, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (MDA947-01-C-2001).

United Defense L.P., York, Pa., was awarded on April 8, 2005, a $10,848,417 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Maintenance of the M2A2 Operation Desert Storm Vehicles. Work will be performed in York, Pa. (83 percent), Aiken, S.C. (5 percent), San Jose, Calif. (8 percent), and Fayette, Pa. (4 percent), and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on March 1, 2005. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-M016).

Silicon Power Corp.*, Malvern, Pa., was awarded on April 11, 2005, a $1,709,000 increment as part of a $6,359,095 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to Design, Develop, Fabricate, Test and Evaluate a Novel Optically-Controlled, High-Action, High-Voltage Pulsed. Work will be performed in Malvern, Pa., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 4, 2005. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15QKN-05-C-1109).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Specialty Defense Systems, Dunmore, Pa., is being awarded a maximum $40,850,271 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for MOLLE equipment for the U.S. Army. Contract will also be performed in Jefferson City, Tenn. and McKee, Ky. Performance completion date is April 28, 2006. Contract funds will expire fiscal year 2009. Proposals were solicited on the WEB with seven responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0100-04-D-4183-0009).

Michael Bianco, New Bedford, Mass.,* is being awarded a maximum $36,138,154 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for MOLLE equipment for the U.S. Army. Performance completion date is Aug. 31, 2006. Contract funds will expire fiscal year 2006. Proposals were solicited on the WEB with seven responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0100-04-D-4184-0004).

Eagle Aviation Inc., Kalispell, Mont., * is being awarded a minimum $7,692,038 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for gasoline and diesel fuel for the U.S. Air Force. Performance completion date is Aug. 31, 2009. Contract will also be performed in various locations throughout Nevada. Contract funds will expire fiscal year 2009. Two hundred twenty-eight proposals were submitted with 33 responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC), Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-4525).

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Information Technology, McLean, Va., is being awarded a $18,965,928 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for telecommunications management system for Air Force wide installation. The location of performance is all Air Force Bases worldwide. No funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2006. Solicitation began January 2005. The Headquarters Engineering Installation Group, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (FA8771-04-D-0004).
