CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

SPECPRO, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $16,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for Technical Analyses and Studies. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. At this time, $6,479,169 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by April 2008. The Headquarters Human Systems Group, Brooks City-Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41624-03-D-1000).

NAVY

Allied Technology, LLC, Marshall, Texas, is being awarded a $10,991,815 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of 700 launchers and 1,000,000 cartridges and associated support for the Battlefield Effects Simulator (BES) training system for the United States Army. The contract will provide BES in support of target systems for Digital Multi-Purpose Range Complexes, Digital Multi-Purpose Training Range, and Battlefield Area Complex. Work will be performed in Marshall, Texas, and is expected to be completed in March 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through an electronic request for proposals; three offers were received. The Naval Air Systems Command Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61339-05-D-0019).

J. Walter Thompson Co., USA, Atlanta, Ga., is being awarded a $7,725,585 modification to previously awarded GSA Task Order (M00264-02-F-0213) for marketing and advertising services in support of the Marine Corps recruitment programs. Work will be performed in Atlanta, Ga., and is expected to be completed by September 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $7,725,585 will expire at the end of the current Fiscal Year. The Regional Contracting Office Northeast, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Cardinal Health Inc., Dublin, Ohio, is being awarded a maximum $12,939,007 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for the U.S. Navy to meet pharmaceutical requirements of routine Navy Fleet and hospital Ships USNS comfort and mercy. This is a 12-month base period contract with four 12-month option periods. Contract work also will be performed in Virginia, California, Washington State, Florida, Connecticut, Texas, Mississippi, Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and North Carolina. Performance completion date is May 20, 2006. Contractor funds will expire at the end of FY 2005 - 2006. Eleven proposals were submitted with 3 responses. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0200-04-D-7020).

ARMY

Technology Research Consultants*, Haines City, Fla., was awarded on April 15, 2005, a $9,422,500 firm-fixed-price contract for CN-1314B/A and CN-811 Displacement Gyroscopes for the Blackhawk and Chinook Helicopters. Work will be performed in Haines City, Fla., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on March 17, 2005. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15P7T-05-C-D015).

Camber Corp., Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on April 15, 2005, a delivery order amount of $2,824,648 as part of a $15,374,208 time and materials contract for Acquisition Management and Force Development Support. Work will be performed at Fort Belvoir, Va., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Dec. 23, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W91CRB-05-D-0017).

Gear Wizard Inc.*, South Holland, Ill., was awarded on April 15, 2005, a delivery order amount of $2,363,167 as part of a $38,223,120 firm-fixed-price contract for Transfer Case Conversion Kits for the High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles. Work will be performed in South Holland, Ill., and is expected to be completed by April 15, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Dec. 28, 2004, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-05-D-0192).
