CONTRACTS

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Maritime Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $70,496,685 cost-plus incentive-fee/award-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-6207) for the Acoustic Rapid Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Insertion (A-RCI) program production. The contractor will produce six AN/BQQ-10(V) sonar systems; one AN/BQQ-10(V4) sonar system and economic order quantity material for three AN/BQQ-10(V4) sonar systems for SSN 774 Class submarines; and, six Executive Workstations (EWS). A-RCI is a sonar system upgrade installed on SSN 688, SSN 688I, SSN 21, SSGN and SSBN 726 Class submarines. AN/BQQ-10(V4) is the sonar system installed on SSN 774 Class submarines. EWS are network connected remote displays installed in Commanding Officer and Executive Officer staterooms and wardrooms to support remote displaying of tactical data and data management. EWS are used in combat control upgrades and are installed on most submarine classes. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va. (40 percent); Portsmouth, R.I. (26 percent); Clearwater, Fla. (17 percent); Chantilly, Va. (4 percent); Syracuse, N.Y. (3 percent); Chelmsford, Mass. (2 percent); St. Louis, Mo. (2 percent); Houston, Texas (2 percent); and others (4 percent), and is expected to be completed by March 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Rolls Royce Engine Services, Oakland, Calif., is being awarded an estimated $33,501,608 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contact for the repair of up to 175 T56-A-427 Series IV engines for the E-2 aircraft. Work will be performed in Oakland, Calif. (75 percent); Indianapolis, Ind. (15 percent); Greer, S.C. (5 percent) and Dallas, Texas (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-05-D-0011).

BAE Systems Aerospace Electronics Inc., Lansdale, Pa., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $10,000,000 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract (N00019-04-C-0122) for the procurement of eight Low Band Transmitters for the Electronic Attack-6B, (EA-6B) aircraft. Work will be performed in Lansdale, Pa., and is expected to be completed in March 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

DRS EW & Network Systems Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., is being awarded an $8,363,793 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-4008) for production of three AN/USQ-82 (V) Fiber Optic Data Multiplex Systems (FODMS) for installation on DDG 110DDG 112. The AN/USQ-82 (V) FODMS is a modular, general purpose multiplexing system capable of transferring the majority of internal data signals found aboard DDG Class ships. Work will be performed in Buffalo, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by April 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Integrated Aerospace Systems Corp., Integrated Aerospace Systems Division*, Santa Ana, Calif., is being awarded an $8,249,177 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00421-00-C-0433) for the procurement of 198 each 480-gallon external fuel tanks for F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in Santa Ana, Calif., and is expected to be completed in August 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

AM General L.L.C., South Bend, Ind., was awarded on April 20, 2005, a $12,999,651 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for M1114 Chassis for the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles. Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 17, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-S001).

Innovative Concepts Inc., McLean, Va., was awarded on April 20, 2005, an $8,473,126 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Software Upgrade of the Improved Data Modem. Work will be performed in McLean, Va., and is expected to be completed by April 15, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on March 1, 2004. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-C-0171).

Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Chantilly, Va., was awarded on April 20, 2005, a $6,311,228 modification to a fixed-price-incentive with award-fee contract for construction of Pentagon Wedge 3. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 19, 2001. The Pentagon Renovation & Construction Program Office, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (MDA947-01-C-2001).
