ARMY

PCL Construction Services Inc., Denver, Colo., was awarded on April 22, 2005, a $31,524,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of an Army Aviation Support Facility. Work will be performed in Aurora, Colo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Jan. 21, 2005, and three bids were received. The U.S. Property & Fiscal Office, Aurora, Colo., is the contracting activity (W912LC-05-C-0001).

Weeks Marine Inc., Covington, La., was awarded on April 22, 2005, a $12,093,450 firm-fixed-price contract for a Shore Protection Project. Work will be performed in Sarasota, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 6, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Nov. 29, 2005, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity (W912EP-05-C-0015).

Systems & Electronics Inc., St. Louis, Mo., was awarded on April 25, 2005, a delivery order amount of $6,279,097 as part of a $203,714,420 firm-fixed-price contract for Production of the Load Handling System Modular Fuel Farm System. Work will be performed in West Plains, Mo. (51 percent), St. Louis, Mo. (6 percent), Oregon, Ill. (42 percent), and Alexandria, Va. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by April 15, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on April 9, 2004, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automobile and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-05-D-DF02).

Irvin Aerospace Inc., Santa Ana, Calif., was awarded on April 25, 2005, a $5,246,817 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the SF-10A Personnel Parachute Canopies. Work will be performed in Santa Ana, Calif., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on March 5, 2005. The U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command, Natick, Mass., is the contracting activity (W58P05-04-C-0012).

NAVY

Busak+Shamban, GSG, Fort Wayne, Ind., is being awarded a firm fixed price indefinite deliver/indefinite quantity contract in the amount of $6,000,000 to provide aircraft kitting in support of the H-60/H-46/H-53 and the FA-18/E2/C2/EA-6B/E1 aircraft at Naval Aviation Depots located in San Diego, Calif., Jacksonville, Fla., and Cherry Point, N.C. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to an estimated $25,000,000. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (50 percent); Jacksonville, Fla. (40 percent); and Cherry Point, N.C. (10 percent), and work is expected to be completed by April 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through Navy Electronic Commerce Online and Federal Business Opportunities websites, with one offer received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00244-05-D-0037).
