CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $60,210,000 fixed price incentive contract to provide for Low Rate Initial Production Lot 5 items: Five Airborne Signal Intelligence Processor enabled Global Hawk Production Air Vehicles; Four Air Vehicles equipped with Enhanced Integrated Sensor Suites (E-ISS); One Air Vehicle w/o E-ISS; one Mission Control Element; and one Launch Recovery Element. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by May 2006. Solicitation began April 2005. The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8620-05-C-4692).

NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $43,287,581 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00019-03-G-0003) to perform requirements definition and engineering studies in support of the Marine Corps Heavy Lift Replacement (HLR) Program. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed in April 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

Alaska Ship and Drydock Inc., Ketchikan, Alaska, is being awarded a $9,689,644 cost-plus-fixed-fee agreement to build a prototype vessel to test various technologies for their usefulness in employment in potential new naval ship designs to facilitate the Navy's warfighting strategy Seapower 21. This agreement contains options that, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this agreement to $29,900,000. Work will be performed in Ketchikan, Alaska, and work is expected to be completed October 2007 (2010 with options). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was awarded in response to a proposal submitted under a Broad Agency Announcement that was announced on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The Office of Naval Research, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00014-05-9-0001).

ARMY

Weeks Marine Inc., Covington, La., was awarded on Aug. 23, 2005, a $21,552,200 firm-fixed-price contract for Maintenance Dredging. Work will be performed in Chesapeake Bay, Md., and is expected to be completed by April 5, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 31 bids solicited on July 8, 2005, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md., is the contracting activity (W912DR-05-C-0032).

BAE Systems, Santa Clara, Calif., was awarded on Aug. 23, 2005, a $15,974,000 firm-fixed-price contract for M113A3 Survivability Enhancement Armor. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 3, 2005. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-G-M002).

McTech Corp.*, Cleveland, Ohio, was awarded on Aug. 17, 2005, a $6,737,400 firm-fixed-price contract for Construction of a new Logistics Complex. Work will be performed in Swanton, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 5, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were seven bids solicited on May 6, 2005, and three bids were received. The National Guard Bureau, Swanton, Ohio, is the contracting activity (W91364-05-C-0015).

SOC-SMG Inc., Minden, Nev., was awarded on Aug. 17, 2005, a $6,266,287 firm-fixed-price contract for Internal Security Operations. Work will be performed at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on July 21, 2005, and 30 bids were received. Eagle Group International, Atlanta, Ga., was awarded on Aug. 19, 2005, a $6,093,344 firm-fixed-price contract for Management of the Military Vaccine/Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program. Work will be performed in Falls Church, Va., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 22, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 17, 2005, and two bids were received. Martin Electronics Inc.*, Perry, Fla., was awarded on Aug. 19, 2005, a $5,728,640 firm-fixed-price contract for M228 Practice Fuzes. Interlog Corp.*, Anaheim, Calif., was awarded on Aug. 16, 2005, a delivery order amount of $449,000 as part of a $5,614,010 firm-fixed-price contract for Shock Absorbers for the M88 Recovery Vehicle. Work will be performed in Anaheim, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 19, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. J.P. Cullen and Sons, Janesville, Wis., was awarded on Aug. 19, 2005, a $5,593,674 firm-fixed-price contract for Construction of a Munitions Storage and Maintenance Complex. Work will be performed in Madison, Wis., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 12, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. OGara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Co., Fairfield, Ohio, was awarded on Aug. 22, 2005, a $5,030,700 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for Pillar and Rocker Overlay Field Kits for the Up-Armored High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles. Work will be performed in Fairfield, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Alutiiq Manufacturing Company L.L.C.*, Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded on Aug. 23, 2005, a delivery order amount of $5,000,000 as part of a $25,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for Modular Construction of Category 500 Medical Facilities. Performance location will be determined with each delivery order, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 21, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
