NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $64,691,272 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-04-C-0115) for the production and delivery of six Low Rate Initial Production MH-60R Multi-Mission helicopter air vehicles. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn. (92 percent); and Troy, Ala. (8 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Systems Integration-Owego, Owego, N.Y., is being awarded an estimated value $50,738,748 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the Link-16 Full Scale Integration of the MH-60R and MH-60S aircrafts that includes research and development efforts to design, develop, integrate, and test the Link-16 Tactical Data Link subsystem and Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System functionality for both the MH-60R and MH-60S aircraft, and the Downed Aircrew Locator System Personnel Locator System for the MH-60S. Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in January 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity (N00019-05-C-0049).

L-3 Communications Vertex Aerospace LLC, Madison, Miss., is being awarded a $36,166,491 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, indefinite-delivery requirements contract to provide additional logistics support for approximately 121 TH-57B/TH-57C aircraft based at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Whiting Field, Fla., and two TH-57C aircraft based at the NAS Patuxent River, Md. Work will be performed in Whiting Field, Fla. (99 percent) and Patuxent River, Md. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-05-D-0023).

Insight Technology Inc., Londonderry, N.H., is being awarded a $32,467,941 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for a minimum of 50 each Special Operations Peculiar Modification (SOPMOD) Visible Bright Light III (VBL III) and a maximum of 92,877 each production quantity of VBL III and associated data for the M4 Carbine in support of the United States Special Operations Command. Work will be performed in Londonderry, N.H., and is expected to be completed by August 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 2 offers received via Navy Electronic Commerce on-line and the Federal Business Opportunities website. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-05-D-8568).

Trident Systems Inc.*, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a not to exceed $25,000,000 Phase III, Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program contract for Topic SOCOM03-004. The objective of the topic is to further develop capabilities to develop RF bridging equipment to move raw sensor data via legacy and emerging manned and unmanned RF communication nodes, correlating it, displaying it integral with command and control software while providing the needed sensor data directly to the disadvantage user at the front line. Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va. and is expected to be completed in August 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured using SBIR Program Solicitation under Topic SOCOM03-004 and 51 offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J. is the contracting activity (N68335-05-D-0025).

Northrop Grumman Defense Mission Systems Inc., Reston, Va., is being awarded a $9,436,878 modification to previously awarded contract (N00178-04-C-2006) to exercise an option for continuing engineering support for the development, installation, integration, maintenance and testing of Combat System Simulation and Stimulation Equipment for the Aegis Program. This modification combines efforts for the U.S. Navy (92 percent) and the Governments of Japan (4 percent); Spain (2 percent); Korea (1.5 percent) and Norway (.5 percent). Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va. (60 percent); Mount Laurel, N.J. (20 percent); Arlington, Va. (10 percent); and San Diego, Calif. (5 percent); and New Church, Va. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity.

Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Inc., Hunt Valley, Md., is being awarded a $6,877,234 firm-fixed priced delivery order against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-04-G-0011). This order provides for the production and delivery of two Replacement Ground Control Stations, 12 Modular Avionics Integrated Systems, two Ground Data Terminals and eight Airborne Data Terminals for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle. Work will be performed in Hunt Valley, Md. (45 percent); Holon, Israel (40 percent); and Patuxent River, Md. (15 percent), and is expected to be completed in July 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

Global Food Services, dba GFS, Baltej Pavillion, Tamuning, Guam, is being awarded a $5,173,729 firm-fixed-price contract for Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) services provided in Guam for Commander, Navy Region Marianas. This contract contains options that, if exercised, will bring the total estimated value of the contract to $26,821,476. Work will be performed in Guam, and work is expected to be completed by August 2010. This contract was a small business set aside, with five offers received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Pearl Harbor is the contracting activity (N00604-05-C-A006).
