NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $10,767,906 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract (N00019-03-C-0011) for the development and installation of an Active Vibration Control System for the MH-60R Low Rate Initial Production II air vehicles. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn. (99 percent) and Oswego, N.Y. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed in October 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

NOVA Group Inc. Napa, Calif., is being awarded $8,588,450 for firm-fixed-price task order 0002 under a previously awarded contract (N68711-03-D-7054) for the drydock floor repairs at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), Bremerton, Washington. Work will be performed in Bremerton, Wash., and is expected to be completed June 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under the terms and conditions of the Waterfront Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) awarded by Southwest Division to four firms. Two offers were received for this task order. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Northwest, Poulsbo, Wash., is the contracting activity.

Signal Technology Corp., Keltec Operations, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $6,551,200 firm-fixed-price, requirements contract, for repair and upgrade of AN/SLQ-32 variant (V) 3 through (V) 5 components, and procurement of associated spare components. The AN/SLQ-32 is an anti-ship missile defense system, which detects and responds to threats aboard Navy carriers, frigates, AEGIS destroyers and cruisers. The electronic components and spares scheduled for repair and upgrade include electronic modules, high voltage subassemblies, high voltage power supplies, and high voltage distribution units. Work will be performed in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and is expected to be completed by August 2010. The contract was not competitively procured. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-05-D-8726).

Litton Systems Inc., Navigation Systems Division, Woodland Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $6,248,439 two-year firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for repair of the LTN-72 inertial navigation system for the C-130 and VP-3A aircraft. Work will be performed in Woodland Hills, Calif., and work is to be completed by December 2007. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity (N00383-05-D-015G).

Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co. Inc., Kansas City, Mo.; Broadmoor LLC, Metairie, La.; Carothers Construction Inc., Water Valley, Miss; SGS, LLC,* Oklahoma City, Okla.; Sauer Inc. d/b/a Sauer Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla; TJC Engineering Inc.,* Louisville, Ky; W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Co., Philadelphia, Miss; and Walton Construction Co. LLC, Harahan, La.; were awarded on Aug. 29, 2005, a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity design build multiple award contract. The work to be performed, primarily consists of general building type projects (new construction and renovations) including but not limited to, administrative, aircraft support facilities, industrial buildings, marine construction, mechanical and electrical improvements, civil construction, grading, drainage, and sewage, potable water storage and transmission, training, dormitory, family housing renovation, community support type facilities, and maintenance for military installations serviced by Southern Division Naval Facilities Engineering Command. Task orders will be competed and negotiated on an individual bases. Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company Inc., is being awarded the initial task order in the amount of $5,089,000 for a Design Build Reserve Training Center and Library, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, Texas. The approximate size of the combined reserve training center and library is 28,000 square feet. Work for this task order is expected to be completed August 2006. The remaining seven contractors are being awarded the minimum guarantee of $25,000 each. The total contract amount for all contracts is not to exceed $350,000,000. The aggregate of $350,000,000 will potentially be shared among all eight contracts. Work will be performed in Mississippi; Louisiana and Fort Worth, Texas, and work is expected to be completed August 2006 (August 2010 with options). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. These eight contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple awards contract.
