ARMY

General Dynamics Land Systems, Sterling Heights, Mich., was awarded on Oct. 31, 2005, an $18,954,182 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for an incorporation of Survivability Engineering Change Proposal into the Fox Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Reconnaissance System. Work will be performed in Anniston, Ala. (90 percent), and Camp Anaconda, Iraq (10 percent), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 29, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 31, 1995. The Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (DAAM01-96-C-0028).

Air Launch L.L.C.*, Reno, Nev., was awarded on Oct. 28, 2005, a $17,800,000 increment as part of a $28,372,342 fixed-price-milestone contract for the detailed design phase of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency/ Air Force Small Launch Vehicle Program. Work will be performed in Reno, Nev. (48 percent), Chatsworth, Calif. (19 percent), Newport Beach, Calif. (8 percent), Madison, Ala. (6 percent), Folsom, Calif. (4 percent), North Billerica, Mass. (9 percent), and Huntington Beach, Calif. (6 percent), and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 7, 2004. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (HR0011-04-9-0016).

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $16,400,004 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract modification. This is a modification to the C-17 production contract to incorporate combat lighting capability into 28 aircraft (Lots 17 through 19). This work will be complete in July 2008. At this time, $7,464,090 has been obligated. Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-02-C-2001/P00041).
