CONTRACTS

ARMY

DynCorp International L.L.C., Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded on Nov. 3, 2005, a delivery order amount of $9,124,802 as part of a $406,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for refurbishment of UH-1H Huey Helicopters. Work will be performed in Panama City, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 27, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Sept. 3, 2003, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-D-0034).

SEI Group*, Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on Nov. 1, 2005, a $6,538,082 firm-fixed-price contract for eesign, construction and installation of physical and electronic security measures. Work will be performed in Baghdad, Iraq, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 11, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 11, 2005, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Va., is the contracting activity (W912ER-06-C-0002).

AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corp., East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $17,289,860 firm-fixed price and cost plus fixed fee contract modification to provide for contractual action for F119 engine, FY 2006-007 to support combined test force infrastructure at Edwards Air Force Base. At this time, $3,457,972 has been obligated. This work will be complete December 2006. Solicitations began December 2003 and negotiations were complete June 2005. The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity. (FA8611-04-C-2852)


L3 Communications Vertex Aerospace, Madison, Miss., is being awarded a $7,347,460 firm-fixed price and cost reimbursable contract modification to provide for electronic flight instrument systems modification for the C-12 J aircraft. The location of performance is ARINC Engineering Systems, Annapolis, Md. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete October 2005. Negotiations were complete November 2005. The Headquarters Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air force Base, Okla. is the contracting activity. (F34601-00-C-0111/P00234)

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

A. C. & T Co., Inc., Hagerstown, Md., * is being awarded a maximum $10,935,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for diesel fuel #2 low sulfur (LSS) dyed. Other location of performance is District of Columbia. The using services are the federal civilian agencies. This is a 5-year contract. Proposals were Web-solicited and 43 responded. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The performance completion date is July 31, 2010. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-4050).

Jianas Brothers Packaging Co., Kansas City, Mo., * is being awarded a maximum $7,355,180 firm fixed price contract for cocoa powder, mocha cappuccino, french vanilla cappuccino, cocoa hazelnut, lemon tea, and apple cider. The using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. This is an indefinite delivery type contract with a base year and four one-year options. There were 65 proposals solicited and 5 responded. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The performance completion date is November 09, 2006. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM3S1-06-D-Z119).

NAVY

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $7,861,938 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-5342) for Standard Missile-2 Block IIIB design agent technical and engineering services and test equipment in support of FY05 Standard Missile-2 MK45 MOD14 target detecting device production. The contract modification will provide for the procurement of test equipment ($6,229,938) in support of the SM-2 MK45 MOD14 Target Detecting Device (TDD) production and technical/engineering services ($1,632,000) for SM-2 Block IIIB design agent support. The contractor will coordinate the delivery and installation of MK45 MOD14 TDD test equipment into the FY05 Standard Missile-2 Block IIIB all up round (AUR) domestic missiles to ensure that the delivery schedules (complete with MK45 MOD14) are not affected. The work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by November 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
