DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

            Placid Refining Co., LLC, Port Allen, La., * is being awarded a maximum $146,631,594 fixed price with economic price adjustment for jet fuel for Defense Energy Support Center.  This is an indefinite delivery/quantity contract, 12-month contract with a 30-day carryover.  There were 37 proposals solicited and 21 responded.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is April 30, 2007.  The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC), Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-06-D-0476).

 

            Delek Refining, Ltd., Tyler, Texas, is being awarded a maximum $61,754,049 fixed price with economic price adjustment for jet fuel for Defense Energy Support Center.  This is an indefinite delivery/quantity contract, 12-month contract with a 30-day carryover.  Proposals were Web-solicited and 21 responded.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is April 30, 2007.  The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC), Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-06-D-0472).

 

            ALON, USA, L.P., Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a maximum $60,881,386 fixed price with economic price adjustment for jet fuel for Defense Energy Support Center.  Other location of performance is Big Spring, Texas.  This is an indefinite delivery/quantity contract, 12-month contract with a 30-day carryover.  Proposals were Web-solicited and 21 responded.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is April 30, 2007.  The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC), Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-06-D-0471).

 

            Hermes Consolidated, Inc., Denver, Colo., * is being awarded a maximum $40,792,973 fixed price with economic price adjustment for jet fuel for Defense Energy Support Center.  This is an indefinite delivery/quantity, 12-month contract with a 30-day carryover.  Proposals were Web-solicited and 21 responded.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is April 30, 2007.  The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC), Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-06-D-0475).

 

ARMY

 

            Kinsley Construction Inc., York, Pa., was awarded on March 17, 2006, a $22,336,600 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a consolidated maintenance facility and defense distribution center/depot.  Work will be performed in New Cumberland, Pa., and is expected to be completed by June 9, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 60 bids solicited on Nov. 15, 2005, and four bids were received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md., is the contracting activity (W912DR-06-C-0012).

 

            Burns & McDonnell, Kansas City, Mo., was awarded on March 17, 2006, a $20,792,837 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a C-5 corrosion control hangar.  Work will be performed in Martinsburg, W.V., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Oct. 24, 2005, and nine bids were received.  The U.S. Property and Fiscal Office for West Virginia, Buckhannon, W.V., is the contracting activity (W912L8-06-C-0002).
