DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 
            Lankford Sysco Food Services, Pocomoke, Md., is being awarded a maximum $31,250,000 firm fixed price contract for prime vendor full line food service distribution.  Using services are Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Job Corps centers.  Proposals were Defense Supply Center Columbus Internet Bid Board System-solicited and four responded.  This is an indefinite delivery type contract exercising option year one of four one year options.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is May 28, 2007.  Contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM3000-06-D3126).
 
ARMY
 
            General Dynamics, Garland, Texas, was awarded on May 25, 2006, an $18,733,312 firm-fixed-price contract for BSU-85/B retarder fin assemblies.  Work will be performed in Garland, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Nov. 18, 2005, and two bids were received.  The Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-06-C-0027).
 
            Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, was awarded on May 25, 2006, a $13,486,181 increment to a $445,360,149 firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of horizontal technology integration second generation forward looking infrared block 1 A and B kits, spares, and technical/repair services to support Army fieldings and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 14, 2006.  The Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-02-C-J204).
 
            Wolf Coach Inc., Auburn, Mass., was awarded on May 25, 2006, an $8,452,138 firm-fixed-price contract for special vehicles to support homeland security.  Work will be performed in Auburn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 22, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on May 22, 2006.  The Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-06-F-0102).
 
            Singal Technology Corp., Plano, Texas, was awarded on May 23, 2006, a $7,180,897 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Microsensor Phase V Program.  Work will be performed in Plano, Texas, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were six bids solicited on April 3, 2006, and one bid was received.  The Defense Microelectronics Activity, McClellan, Calif., is the contracting activity (H94003-06-C-6003).
 
            Ewing Cole, Philadelphia, Pa., was awarded on May 25, 2006, a delivery order amount of $6,000,000 as part of a firm-fixed-price contract for architect/engineer services for the design of military projects.  Work will be performed at Fort Campbell, Ky., and is expected to be completed by May 24, 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Jan. 25, 2006, and 17 bids were received.  The Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity (W912QR-06-D-0029).
NAVY
 
            NICO-PYROTECHNIK, Hanns-Jurgen, Diedeichs GmBH & Co. KG, Bei Der Feuerwerkeri 4, D22946, Trittau, Germany, is being awarded a $9,898,799 fixed-priced modification to previously awarded contract (N00178-02-C-1004) for development and limited production of the 40 MM cartridge, practice MK 281 MOD 0 and MK 281 MOD I, for the Marine Corps.  The contract contains requirements for testing and evaluation rounds.  The 40 MM cartridge is a practice round.  Work will be performed in Trittau, Germany, and is expected to be completed by April 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity. 
 
AIR FORCE
 
            ITT Industries Systems Division, Cape Canaveral, Fla., is being awarded a $6,688,216 cost plus award fee contract modification.  The Spacelift Range System contract is a not to exceed in the amount of $6,688,216 and will perform all management and support functions to acquire, develop, modify, install, and test hardware and software necessary to integrate an entire Central Command System (CCS) in the Western Range Operations Control Center (WROCC).  The WROCC requires a CCS in order to be integrated into the Mission Flight Control Center for WROCC activation.  The Central Command System is a range safety critical system used to issue destruct command to the Command Transmitter Sites in the event of an errant vehicle.   At this time, total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete February 2008.  Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity.  (F04701-01-C-0001/P00319)
 
          Capco, Inc., Grand Junction, Colo., is being awarded a $6,207,509 firm fixed price contract.  This action provides for cartridge, dual impulse, BBU-48/B.  This function will eject chaff payload-which is used to protect various aircraft to defeat radar detection, with a quantity of 829,881 each.  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  Solicitations began February 2006 and negotiations were complete April 2006.  This work will be complete November 2007.  84th Munitions Sustainment Group, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8213-06-C-0033).
