ARMY
 
            Stewart & Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems L.P., Sealy, Texas, was awarded on May 8, 2006, a $295,959,383 modification to a firm-fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contract for family of medium tactical trucks and trailers.  Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 15, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were two bids solicited on Aug. 15, 2003, and two bids were received.  The Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-03-C-S023).
 
            Goodrich Pump and Engine Control System, West Hartford, Conn., was awarded on May 5, 2006, a delivery order amount of $10,937,040 as part of a $36,312,700 firm-fixed-price contract for digital electronic control units.  Work will be performed in West Hartford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were two bids solicited on Oct. 28, 2005, and one bid was received.  The Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-06-D-0152).
 
            Raytheon Co., Falls Church, Va., was awarded on May 8, 2006, a $5,244,619 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the research and development of military radios.  Work will be performed in Falls Church, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 5, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on April 5, 2005, and ten bids were received.  The Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15P7T-06-C-R002).
 
DynPort Vaccine Co. L.L.C., Frederick, Md., was awarded on May 8, 2006, a $5,000,000 increment as part of a $332,436,224 cost-plus-award-fee contract for phase 2A clinical trials of the plague vaccine.  Work will be performed in Fredericks, Md., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were five bids solicited on Jan. 31, 2006, and five bids were received.  The Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Frederick, Md., is the contracting activity (DAMD17-98-C-8024).
 
AIR FORCE
 
            Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $49,500,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.  The contract will require delivery of large aircraft infrared countermeasure (LAIRCM) system hardware, support equipment and services to include:  systems engineering, program management, logistics, spares as well as installation, installation support, and field service support for C-17 and C-130 aircraft.  The ID/IQ contract allows for the purchase of LAIRCM hardware for foreign military sales and other government agencies as may be identified during the contract performance period.  The ID/IQ also allows for the addition of installation support for other platforms are required.  The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may be less than the amount indicated above.  At this time, $36,764,357 has been obligated.  Solicitation began 2 November 2005 and negotiations were complete May 2006.  This work will be complete December 2010.  Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8625-06-D-6453, Delivery Order 0001).
NAVY
 
            Alutiiq Global Solutions, LLC, Hanahan, S.C., is being awarded a $46,149,273 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity completion contract for support services relative to electronic security systems (ESS) in support of the Army National Guard (ARNG) overall security program.  The contractor shall provide and manage personnel and equipment, to include matrix support provided to the contractor by subcontractors or consultants, to safeguard U.S. government and other resident property, personnel, and information and to assure continuity of the ARNG work effort.  Work will be performed in Hanahan, S.C., and is expected to be completed by May 2009.  Contract funds in the amount of $10,000, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The contract was not competitively procured.  The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-06-D-0026).
 
            ALION Science and Technology Corp., Chicago, Ill., is being awarded a $13,718,888 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order against a previously awarded indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract (N61339-03-D-0300) to provide modeling and simulation (M&S) services for joint experimentation.  Services to be provided include M&S technical direction, program management analyses, system design and administration, programming, network engineering, and operations for M&S initiatives.  Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va. (85 percent) and Alexandria, Va. (15 percent), and is expected to be completed in November 2007.  Contract funds in the amount of $87,043 will expire at the end of the fiscal year.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity.
 
            Anteon Corp., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded an $11,533,385 indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing to support Navy research, development, testing, and evaluation for the submarine communication information and C4I systems division.  This contract is one of two contracts awarded; both awardees will compete for task orders during the ordering period.  This 3-year contract includes two 1-year options, which if exercised, would bring the potential, cumulative value of the contract to $21,472,388.  Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed May 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via publication on the Federal Business Opportunities website (solicitation N66001-05-R-5017) and posting to the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central website, with seven offers received.  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-06-D-0091).
 
            L-3 Communications Titan Corp., (formerly Titan Corp., Engineering Services Division), San Diego, Calif., is being awarded an $11,362,058 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing to support Navy research, development, testing, and evaluation for the Submarine Communication Information and C4I Systems Division. This contract is one of two contracts awarded; both awardees will compete for task orders during the ordering period.  This 3-year contract includes two 1-year options, which if exercised, would bring the potential, cumulative value of the contract to $21,165,279.  Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed May 2009.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via publication on the Federal Business Opportunities website (solicitation N66001-05-R-5017) and posting to the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central website, with seven offers were received.  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-06-D-0090).
 
            Advanced Acoustic Concepts, Inc., Hauppauge, N.Y., is receiving an $11,267,352 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-05-C-5486) for three scaled improved performance sonar (SIPS) kits and engineering services in support of the AN/SQQ-89(V) anti-submarine warfare (ASW) combat system.  Work will be performed in Hauppauge, N.Y. (60 percent) and Union Town, Pa. (40 percent), and is expected to be completed by March 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
 
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 
            Sysco of Seattle, Kent, Wash.,* is being awarded a maximum $10,000,000 firm fixed price contract for full line food distributor for Navy ships.  Proposals were Web-solicited and three responded.  This is an indefinite delivery/quantity term extension contract exercising option year 3.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is May 10, 2007.  Contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, Pa (SPM300-06-D-3053).
 
            DeRossi & Son Co., Vineland, N.J., * is being awarded a maximum $6,419,280 firm fixed price contract for man’s coat, poly/wool, serge for Army.  There were four proposals solicited and two responded.  This is an indefinite delivery/quantity type contract exercising option year 1.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is May 8, 2007.  Contracting activity is DSCP, Philadelphia, Pa (SP0100-05-D-0449).
 
            New Maryland Clothing Manufacturing, Inc., Baltimore, Md., * is being awarded a maximum $5,020,536 firm fixed price contract for man’s and woman’s coat for Air Force.  There were four proposals solicited and three responded.  This is an indefinite delivery/quantity type contract exercising option year 1.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Date of performance completion is May 11, 2007.  Contracting activity is DSCP, Philadelphia, Pa (SP0100-05-D-0453).
