            Pacific Tugboat Service, Pacific Tugboat Service, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded an $8,052,763 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for maintenance, upkeep and repair of government owned vessels.  Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by May 2011.  Contract funding in the amount of $50,000, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The contract was competitively procured and advertised via the internet, with one offer received.  The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, R.I., is the contracting activity (N66604-06-D-1901).
 
ARMY
 
            AM General L.L.C., South Bend, Ind., was awarded on May 5, 2006, a $20,704,606 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the M1151P1 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle.  Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on July 17, 2000.  The Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-S001).
 
            Kidde Dual Spectrum, Goleta, Calif., was awarded on May 5, 2006, a $9,469,176 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for automatic fire extinguishing system kits for the M114 Up-armored High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle.  Work will be performed in Wilson, N.C., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 27, 2005.  The Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-06-C-0009).
 
            AM General Corp., South Bend, Ind., was awarded on May 5, 2006, a $6,365,202 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of M1097A2 high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles.  Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on July 17, 2000.  The Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-S001).
AIR FORCE
 
            Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $21,807,472 firm fixed price contract modification.  This action provides for advanced medium range air-to-air missile (AMRAAM) lead time away material for 12 operational test missiles (AIM-120D) and 40 initial operational capability missiles (AIM-120D and AIM-120C7).  Additionally, this action provides for systems engineering performance responsibility (SEPR).  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete October 2007.  Headquarters Medium Range Missile Systems Group, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA8675-06-C-0003/P0002).
 
            Irvine Sensors Corp, Costa Mesa, Calif., is being awarded a $5,618,864 cost plus fixed fee contact for the cognitive sensor systems for robotic and unattended platforms program.  The objective is to develop the front-end of a cognitive sensor system with limited size, weight, and power that transforms data of an imaging sensor suite into communicable knowledge.  At this time, $4,368,864 has been obligated.  Solicitations began January 2006 and negotiations were complete May 2006.  This work will be complete March 2009.  Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-06-C-7626).
