ARMY
 
            Bechtel National Inc., San Francisco, Calif., was awarded on April 28, 2006, a delivery order amount of $94,338,042 as part of a $409,937,259 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for construction of a chemical demilitarization facility.  Work will be performed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 2, 2004.  The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-02-G-0005).
 
            AM General Corp., South Bend, Ind., was awarded on May 1, 2006, a $55,987,075 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of M1113 High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles.  Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This was a sole source contract initiated on July 17, 2000.  The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-S001).
 
            Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure Inc., Baton Rouge, La., was awarded on April 28, 2006, a $24,402,632 firm-fixed-price contract for Design, Construction, and Renovation of a G-2 Intelligence Headquarters Command Building.  Work will be performed in Kabul, Afghanistan, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 18, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 34 bids solicited on Feb. 17, 2006, and ten bids were received.  The U.S. Army Engineer District, Afghanistan, is the contracting activity (W917PM-06-C-0006).
 
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 
            Campbellsville Apparel, Campbellsville, Ky., * is being awarded a maximum $11,015,762 firm-fixed-price contract for men’s briefs for Army.  Proposals were Web-solicited and 5 responded.  This is an indefinite quantity type contract for the base term.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The date of performance completion is September 30, 2007.  Theontracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, Pa (SP0100-06-D-0378).
 
NAVY
 
            180s LLC,*  Baltimore, Md. is being awarded $8,084,200 for delivery order (0001) under previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract  (M67854-05-D-3067) for 60,108 combat desert jackets, which are outer garments used to enhance the  Marine’s survivability in a high desert and a cold/dry environment.  This contract includes options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $42,721,400.  Work will be performed in Tullahoma, Tenn., and is expected to be completed September 2007.  Contract funds in the amount of $8,057,400 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, 21 offers received.  The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
