DEFENSE FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING SERVICE
Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., was awarded a new blanket purchase agreement (BPA) under contract (HQ-0423-06-A-0011) for contractor provided program management, consulting, and agency support services to include accounting, training, human resource services and Information Technology services all in support of the Defense Finance and Service (DFAS) agency transformation initiative. The primary focus of the work to be performed is master integration support for the Transformation Directorate at DFAS Indianapolis, Ind. The contractor’s role will be to assist DFAS in planning and executing agency efforts to accomplish its transformation. The contractor will also lead a team of vendors under the BPA through 21 contractor teaming arrangements. The services provided will be temporary support to closing DFAS locations and are not anticipated to be required after agency transformation is complete. The estimated total value of this contract is $25,000,000. Primary work will be performed at DFAS Indianapolis, Ind., and temporary services provided to closing locations will be performed at the closing locations. Work will be performed 5 years from the date of the award, between May 1, 2006 through April 30, 2011. Funding will be provided through defense working capital funds and BRAC funding. Fenwick Technologies, Morgantown, W. Va., is being awarded a $7,050,000 cost plus fixed fee contract.
