DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Macquarie Aviation North America 2 Inc., Louisville, Ky. *, is being awarded a maximum $24,862,800 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for jet fuel for the U.S. Air Force. Performance completion date is Aug. 30, 2010. Contract funds will be paid fiscal years 2005 - 2010. Proposals were web solicited with one response. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-4031).

 

 

Petro Star Inc., Anchorage, Alaska, * is being awarded a minimum $9,311,483 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for gasoline for federal civilian agencies. Contract will also be performed in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. Performance completion date is Sept. 30, 2007. Contract funds will expire at the end of fiscal year 2007. Seventy-five proposals were submitted with nineteen responses.

 

The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-1270).

 

 

NAVY

 

Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine, is being awarded a $16,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee option to previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-2310) for the advance procurement of required Long Lead Material for the first Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) to be constructed by Bath Iron Works. The LCS is the U.S. Navy's newest surface combatant. The LCS requirement has been identified as part of a broader surface combatant force transformation strategy; focused missions for the ship are those that ensure and enhance friendly force access to littoral areas. Long Lead Material is being procured under the Final System Design contract in order to meet the delivery requirements of the first Flight Zero ship. The contract award for Long Lead Material includes a description of the items to be procured, the supplier, the required ordering date, supplier lead-time, in-yard need date and a breakout by month of the dollar amounts required. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed September 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

 

Del-Jen International Corp., Rolling Hills Estate, Calif., is being awarded an estimated $8,057,822 combination firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity award fee type contract for base support services at the U.S. Naval Base, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The work to be performed under this contract is to provide family housing maintenance and repair, bachelor housing operations, sustainment restoration and modernization consisting of maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration, maintenance and repair of elevators, maintenance and repair of fire protection systems, maintenance of buildings and structures, operation and maintenance of base support vehicles and equipment, janitorial services, pest control services, refuse collection/disposal services, grounds maintenance services and Joint Task Force services. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $41,927,814. Work will be performed at the U.S. Naval Base, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and is expected to be completed by June 2010. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website with five offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, Norfolk, Va. is the contracting activity. AIR FORCE

 

TYBRIN Corp., Fort Walton Beach, Fla., is being awarded $13,676,384 cost-plus award-fee contract modification to increase the level of effort under contract F06411-00-C-001 System Engineering and Technical Assistance Services in support of aerospace research, development, test and evaluation programs, training, and related support activities for the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. No funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by May 2005. The Headquarters Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F06411-00-C-0001, P00094).

 

 

ARMY

 

Honeywell International Inc., Tempe, Ariz., was awarded on April 7, 2005, a delivery order amount of $5,214,510 as part of an $11,007,241 firm-fixed-price contract for the Engine Gas an Auxiliary Ground Power Unit. Work will be performed in Tempe, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by April 29, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on April 22, 2004, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-D-0347).

 

Vista Controls Inc., Littleton, Mass., was awarded on April 8, 2005, a delivery order amount of $2,314,953 as part of a $5,098,863 firm-fixed-price contract for 101 Turret Distribution Boxes for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System. Work will be performed in Littleton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Apr. 14, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 21, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52H09-05-D-0141).

 

 

Advanced Designed Corp., Newington, Va., was awarded on April 8, 2005, a delivery order amount of $2,200,000 as part of a $16,079,978 time and materials contract to obtain acquisition management and force development support. Work will be performed at Fort Belvoir, Va., and is expected to be completed by April 7, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Feb. 8, 2005, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W91CRB-05-D-0013).

 

 

General Electric Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, was awarded on March 31, 2005, a delivery order amount of $849,123 as part of a $5,789,669 firm-fixed-price contract for non-personal technical services. Work will be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on May 27, 2004, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-05-D-0084).
