NAVY

Beech Aircraft Corporation, Wichita, Kansas, is being awarded a $11,835,712 firm-fixed-price contract for FY 95 AQM-37C aerial target production in support of the Cruise Missiles and Joint Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Program. Work will be performed in Wichita, Kansas, and is expected to be completed by May 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-95-C-0165).

McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $8,634,509 cost-plus-fixed-fee/level-of-effort contract for system engineering and integration effort for the Tomahawk cruise missile Weapon Control System (WCS). Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri (90%), and Washington, D.C. (10%), and is expected to be completed by September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-94-C-0254).

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded $29,399,000 firm-fixed-price contract for repair/rehabilitation of Bancroft Hall (Phase II), at the United States Naval Academy (USNA). Work will be performed in Annapolis, Maryland, and is expected to be completed by August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with ten proposals solicited and three offers received. The Engineering Field Activity, Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-93-C-0101).

 

Ingalls Shipbuilding, Inc., Pascagoula, Mississippi, is being awarded a $21,722,508 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-2802 for follow yard class services for DDG 51 Class AEGIS destroyers. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and is expected to be completed by April 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Template Software Incorporated, Herndon, Virginia, is entering into a cooperative agreement with the Object Technology for Rapid Software Development Consortium. Contractor share of funds amounts to $6,005,237; Government share amounts to $5,897,817 for a total value of $11,903,054. This Cooperative Agreement provides for the development of reusable software components which will reduce the effort required to field new software applications. Approximately 47% of the work will be performed at IBM Corporation, Austin, Texas Contract and is expected to be completed April 1997. Contract funds expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a Broad Agency Announcement type solicitation. The exact number of proposal bids is unknown as the Advanced Research Projects Agency performed the source selections. The solicitation was issued in May 1994, negotiations were completed April 1995. The Rome Laboratory, Griffis Air Force Base, New York 13441-4514 is the contracting activity (F30602-95-2-0006).

Martin Marietta Corporation, Littleton, Colorado, is being awarded a $6,229,833 face value increase to a Firm Fixed Price Incentive contract for upgrade of the Computer Controlled Launch Sets Color Graphics System at the Launch Operation Control Center, Cape Canaveral Air Station, Florida and at the System Integration Lab facilities in San Diego, California and Denver, Colorado. Contract is expected to be completed February 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Space and Missile System Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity (F04701-85-C-0019/P01157).

Rockwell International Corporation, Seal Beach, California, is being awarded a $7,143,524 face value increase to a Fixed Price Incentive contract for 23 modification kits for the 1122 Antenna applicable to the B-1B aircraft. Half of the work will be performed at Rockwell's Palmdale Modification Center, Palmdale, California and half at it's Tulsa Division, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Contract is expected to be completed July 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is the contracting activity (F33657-81-0210/P01682).

United Technologies Corporation, West Palm Beach , Florida, is being awarded an $18,334,304 (Estimated) Cost Plus Award Fee and Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity contract for sustaining engineering and configuration management support for the F100 series of engines applicable to the F-15 and F-16 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Three firms solicited and one proposal received. Approximately 40% of this effort supports foreign military sales to Belgium, Egypt, Denmark, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Israel, Norway, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Venezuela. The San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas is the contracting activity (F41608-95/D-0082).

Martin Marietta Corporation, Littleton, Colorado, is being awarded a $55,000,000 face value increase to a Firm Fixed Price Incentive contract for long term storage of Titan IV solid rocket motor upgrade segments at Camp Blanding Training Site, Florida. Sixty per cent of the

work will also be performed at the Spaceport Florida Authority, Cocoa Beach, Florida, 32931 Contract is expected to be completed September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California is the contracting activity (F04701-85-C-0019/P01001).
