ARMY

Longbow Limited Liability Co., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded $107,630,000 as part of a $565,345,000 firm-fixed-price multi-year contract for the fabrication, test and delivery of 207 Fire Control Radars (FCRs) and associated contractor services over a five-year period. The Longbow Fire Control Radar significantly improves the adverse weather fighting abilities of the AH-64D helicopter, provides a true fire-and-forget capability and increases target acquisition efficiency and effectiveness, thus increasing battlefield effectiveness and survivability. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla. (50%); and Baltimore, Md. (50%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 1, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH23-98-C-0008).

Honeywell Inc., Defense Avionics Systems Division, Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded a $12,488,594 delivery order amount as part of a firm-fixed-price contract for 95 Right Improved Master Controlling Processor Units (IMCPU) and 95 Left IMCPUs. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 15, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAJ09-96-G-0036).

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Akron, Ohio, is being awarded a $9,919,671 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 90,007 track shoe assemblies (T-1571) which support the Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems. Work will be performed in St. Marys, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 30, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-97-C-T039).

Stewart & Stevenson Services Inc., Sealy, Texas, is being awarded a $112,388,962 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for funding of the third increment of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) extension effort. This action will call-up the delivery of

1,042 vehicles (2 five ton vehicles and 1,040 two and one-half ton vehicles). Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were three bids solicited on Sept. 20, 1990, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-92-C-R001).

United Defense Limited Partnership, Ground Systems Division, York, Pa., is being awarded a $36,741,137 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to exercise the option for 18 Bradley A3 low-rate initial production vehicles. Work will be performed in York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 14, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-96-C-X036).

KCI Construction Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $5,315,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of Ranges 19, 21, 27/27A and Babb Air Field only. The project includes constructing new and modifying existing facilities at multiple ranges and training area sites. Construction includes observation towers, foxholes roadways, berms, administrative space, classrooms, security lighting, ammunition distribution sheds, general storage space, covered oil/water separators, spill collection systems, fire breaks, signage and fording pit. As part of this construction, environmental mitigation actions will take place and will consist of soil stabilization, and erosion control/sediment control measures. Support facilities include electric service and site improvements. Work will be performed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and is expected to be completed by May 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 122 bids solicited on Nov. 14, 1997, and six bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo. (DACA41-98-C-0003).

Ryan Co., Rockland, Mass., is being awarded an $8,738,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of Ranges 4, 6, 11, 13, 17, 18, and 30. Lockheed Martin Federal Systems Inc., Owego, N.Y., is being awarded a $17,583,604 modification to a firm-fixed-price multi-year contract for 207 Radar Frequency Interferometers (RFI) and associated contractor support services. Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 7, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAJ09-97-C-0124).

NAVY

Kollsman, Inc., Merrimack, N.H., is being awarded a $43,206,520 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0211 for the procurement of 26 night targeting systems for integration into the Taiwanese Army AH-1W helicopter under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed in January 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
