DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
 
            Night Vision Systems, Allentown, Pa., is being awarded a maximum $139,304,445.12 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for night vision equipment. Using services are Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps. There were 5 proposals solicited and 4 responded. This is a 5-year contract, one base year and 4 one year options. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Date of performance completion is April 19, 2008. Contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Columbus, (DSCC), Columbus, Ohio (SPM7AX-07-D-7014).
 
ARMY
 
            Agilent Technologies Inc., Englewood, Colo., was awarded on April 6, 2007, a delivery order amount of $94,091,286 as part of a $94,091,286 firm-fixed-price contract for AN/PRM-35 radio test sets. Work will be performed in Englewood, Colo., and is expected to be completed by March 30, 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Jan. 26, 2007, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-07-D-0008).
 
            Colt Defense L.L.C.*, Hartford, Conn., was awarded on April 6, 2007, a delivery order amount of $50,775,745 as part of a $50,775,745 firm-fixed-price contract for M4 and M4A1 carbines. Work will be performed in Hartford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 16, 2007. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52H09-04-D-0086).
 
            Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Ariz., was awarded on April 5, 2007, a $32,499,999 firm-fixed-price contract for Excalibur Block IA-1 projectiles. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (39 percent), Farmington, N.M. (1 percent), Niceville, Fla. (18 percent), Heraldsburg, Calif. (7 percent), Cincinnati, Ohio (5 percent), Minneapolis, Minn. (6 percent), Anaheim, Calif. (4 percent), Thousand Oaks, Calif. (3 percent), Williamsport, Pa. (2 percent), Joplin, Mo. (2 percent), Fort Lowel, Mass. (1 percent), Minneapolis, Minn. AIR FORCE
 
            Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $49,097,981 cooperative agreement contract to provide for Advanced Composite Cargo Aircraft (ACCA) flight demonstrator. The Air Force Research Laboratory Air Vehicles Directorate is acquiring the design, development, and manufacture of a technology demonstration aircraft that feature advanced structural design and manufacturing techniques integrated with advanced aerodynamic design. The purpose of this aircraft is to demonstrate the application of structural design and manufacturing technologies that can significantly reduce the structural weight and cost of future military transport type aircraft. At this time, $2,000,000 have been obligated. Solicitations began January 2007 and negotiations were complete April 2007.   Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-07-2-3745).
 
            Aurora Flight Sciences Corp., Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $46,856,095 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for Advanced Composite Cargo Aircraft. The Air Force Research Laboratory Air Vehicles Directorate is acquiring the design, development, and manufacture of a technology demonstration aircraft that feature advanced structural design and manufacturing techniques integrated with advanced aerodynamic design. The purpose of this aircraft is to demonstrate the application of structural design and manufacturing technologies that can significantly reduce the structural weight and cost of future military transport type aircraft. At this time, $1,997,942 have been obligated. Solicitations began January 2007 and negotiations were complete April 2007. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-07-C-3700).
 
            Lockheed Martin Space Systems Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $40,115,026 cost-plus-award-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification. This is a contract modification to the existing Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) high component engineering, manufacturing, and development contract. This contract will conduct conceptualization, planning and execution for launch and on-orbit checkout of the Space Based Infrared Systems Geosynchronous Elliptical Orbit Satellites while continually operating the High Elliptical Orbit payload to be performed at the Interim Mission Control Station Back-Up Facility and Interim Test Center. The period of performance will be extended from fiscal year 2010 through 2012. At this time, $2,219,469 have been obligated. This work will be complete September 2012. Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-95-C-0017/P00418).
 
NAVY
 
            Advanced Acoustics Concepts, Inc., Hauppauge, N.Y., is being awarded a $5,957,750 modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-05-C-5486) to exercise an optionto continue Anti-Submarine Warfare improvements in support of multiple surface ship platforms and programs for torpedo detection classification and localization, mission package software in support of Littoral Combat Ship development, and completion of the Scaled Improved Performance Sonar fielding efforts for FY07. Work will be performed in Hauppauge, N.Y. (60 percent), Lemont Furnace, Pa. (40 percent), and is expected to be completed December 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
 
DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY
 
            Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems, Linthicum Md., was awarded on April 16, 2007, a $4,500,000 increment of a $9,999,932 modification to a previously awarded cost plus fixed fee contract to exercise an option for phase 2 of the Vehicle and Dismount Exploitation Radar (VADER) development and demonstration program. Work will be performed in Linthicum, Md., and is expected to be completed in April 2008. Funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contracting activity is the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Va.
