AIR FORCE
Universal Technology Corporation, UTC, of Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a contract for $98,000,000. This action provides for the Rapid Response Research and Development (R&D) for the Propulsion Directorate is an integral tool for the execution of the Propulsion Directorate’s R&D programs that allows for rapid responses for short-term efforts and long-term capabilities. This effort will place on contract the basic IDIQ and covers Aircraft Gas Turbine Engines, Aerospace Power and Thermal Management, and Advanced Propulsion. This effort also provides Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) that are integral to, in direct support of, and inseparable from research and development. At this time $1,000 has been obligated. AFRL/PKPB, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-08-D-2806).
