            Contract Number SPM8EG-08-D-0013 released on Dec. 28, 2007, was awarded to a small business, L.N. Curtis & Sons. Oakland, Calif., for a maximum of $800,000,000.00 indefinite quantity, two year base with three one-year options contract for tailored logistics support program for fire and emergency services.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Federal Civilian Agencies, and State and Local Governments.  The original proposals were solicited on FEDBIZ with 12 responses.  The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa.
            McDonnell Douglas Corp., A Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Co., of St. Louis, Mo. is being awarded a firm-fixed price contract for $115,613,146.  This action will provide for Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) Lot 12 Guided Vehicle kits quantity of 4,907. The JDAM weapon system provides the Air Force and the Navy with an improved aerial delivery capability for existing 500, 1000, 2000 pound bombs. The JDAM is a strap-on kit with Inertial Navigation System/Global Positioning System capability. At this time all funds have been obligated. 678 ARSS/PK, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. is the contracting activity (FA8681-08-C-0001).
            Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corp., of Boulder, Colo., is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for $49,188,000.  The Warfighter Interface Research and Technology Operations seeks to conceive, develop, evaluate, integrate and transition science and technology that revolutionizes the control, information, and cognitive interface with AF systems to enable optimum decision-making by commanders, operators, and support personnel. The research will focus on the key areas related to the five major research areas as follows: Battlespace Acoustics, Battlespace Vision Area, Cognitive Systems Area, Collaborative Technologies, and System Control Interfaces. At this time $150,000 has been obligated. Det 1 AFRL/PKHB, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity (FA8650-08-D-6801, Task Order 0001).
            Intelligent Software Solutions of Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for $48,550,000.  This action provides for Secure Information Access Analysis and Dissemination. At this time no funds have been obligated. AFRL/RIKF, Rome, N.Y. is the contracting activity (FA8750-06-D-0005, P00002).
            APM, LLC of Yorba Linda, Calif., is being awarded a contract modification for $5,600,000.  This action will exercise the third annual option period for design build services required for construction projects at Robins Air Force, GA. At this time no funds have been obligated. 78th Contracting Squadron, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8501-04-D-0006, P0004).
            Dynamic Flowform Corp.,* Billerica, Mass., is being awarded $71,535,450 under previously awarded firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (M67854-08-D-1054) to purchase 60mm Lightweight Co., Mortars Systems and 81mm Lightweight Mortar Systems to provide indirect fire support for infantry offensive and defensive operations.   This contract provides for the production of both 60mm and 81mm mortar cannon assemblies and spare components using Inconel 718 alloy and flowforming technologies. Work will be performed in Billerica, Mass., and work is expected to be completed by Jan. 2009.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was set aside for small business and competitively procured. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
            EG&G Technical Services, Inc., Dumfries, Va., is being awarded a $9,901,787 task order under previously awarded contract (M67854-02-A-9011) for professional technical support to the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicle Joint Program Office. The contractor shall provide expert support directly to the MRAP Joint Program Manager and Deputy PMs; Assistant PMs for all MRAP vehicle variants and the following functional managers: Integration and Government Furnished Equipment, Spiral Development, International Programs, acquisition, contracts, production, quality, logistics, engineering, test & evaluation and safety. This effort builds upon existing contract support that will remain in place. Work will be performed in Stafford, Va., and work is expected to be completed in Nov. 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine Corps System Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
            L3 Communications Aerospace LLC, Madison, Miss., was awarded on Jan. 9, 2008, a $30,006,000 time and material contract for logistics support in the area of aircraft workers.  Work will be performed in Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 10, 2010.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Three bids were solicited on Nov. 1, 2007, and one bid was received. Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas, is the contracting activity GS-10F-0328N.
