            NTF, L.L.C. a Joint Venture of Opus South and Whitesell-Green, Pensacola, Fla., is being awarded a $45,818,302 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a United States Air Force training hangar, applied instruction facility (School), and sun shelters for aircraft at Naval Air Station Pensacola. The work to be performed provides for the construction of a hurricane protected multi aircraft hangar and navigator training school with classrooms to accommodate the relocation of the USAF Navigator training school from Randolph Air Force Base, Texas. Work will be performed in Pensacola, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Naval Facilities Engineering Command e-solicitation website with six proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity (N69450-08-C-0762).
 
            Lockheed Martin, Maritime Systems and Sensors, Mitchel Field, N.Y., is being awarded $21,344,179 modification under previously awarded cost-plus-incentive fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00030-08-C-0002) to exercise options to provide U.S. TRIDENT II (D5) navigation subsystem engineering support services requirements. Specific efforts include U.S. Strategic Weapon System shipboard integration support and U.S. trainer shipboard integration support.
The options increase the contract value to $80,071,325.   Work will be performed in Mitchel Field, N.Y., and work is expected to be completed Apr. 2010.   Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
 
            Carothers Construction Inc., Water Valley, Miss., is being awarded a $10,069,900 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a diagnostic imaging center radiology oncology clinic at Keesler Air Force Base. The work to be performed provides for the construction of a clinic with a connector to the existing hospital. This project will provide an elevated one-story steel frame and concrete addition on pile foundation, with a concrete slab, concrete and glass exterior, a modified bitumen roof, and all mechanical and electrical systems. The facility will be an adequately sized, efficient, modern, hurricane-protected Diagnostic Imaging Center for the Radiation Oncology Clinic to serve the eligible personnel in the Biloxi/Gulfport Miss. area. Work will be performed in Biloxi, Miss., and is expected to be completed by Sep. 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Naval Facilities Engineering Command e-solicitation website with five proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity (N69450-08-C-0758).
