DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Pioneer Aluminum,* Los Angeles, California, was awarded on October 5, 1994, an
estimated $8,516,002 firm fixed price with economic price adjustment contract
for the heat treatment of many different types of aluminum sheets.
Twenty-three proposals were solicited and seven were received. Work will be
performed in California, and is expected to be completed by October 4, 1997.
Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Industrial
Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity
(SPO500-99-D-0002).
NAVY
Saberline Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $40,637,095
modification to previously awarded contract N00019-90-C-0039 for FY 95 flight
training services in support of the undergraduate naval flight officers
training system. Work will be performed Pensacola, Florida, and is expected to
be completed by September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is
the contracting activity.
McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis,
Missouri, is being awarded a $49,289,156 modification to previously awarded
contract N00019-93-C-0139 for T-45TS flight line and on-site maintenance and
support. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri (15%), Kingsville,
Texas (80%), and Patuxent River, Maryland (5%), and is expected to be completed
by December 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air
Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Northrop Grumman Corporation, B-2 Division, Pico Rivera, California, is being
awarded a $5,118,218 (Estimated) face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive
contract for development of the Nuclear Hardness Maintenance/Hardness
Surveillance program for the B-2 aircraft. This program is intended to
maximize the B-2's nuclear and electromagnetic defenses as well as to devise
systems to evaluate those defenses. Contract is expected to be completed
September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base,
Oklahoma is the contracting activity (F33657-87-C-2000, P00505).
