AIR FORCE
Hyster Company, Portland, Oregon, is being awarded a $7,794,735
firm-fixed-price contract for 174 10K Standard Forklift Trucks; 10 for the
Navy, 7 in support of a Foreign Military sale to Egypt, and the reminder for
the Air Force. The work will be performed at Danville, Illinois. Contract is
expected to be completed March 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. Fifty-eight bids were solicited and four proposals
were received. The solicitation was issued April 1993 and negotiations were
completed July 1994. This contract is in support for a Foreign Military Sale
(FMS) to Egypt. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base,
Georgia, is the contracting activity (F09603-94-C-1129).
Martin Marietta Defense and Space Communications, Denver, Colorado, is being
awarded an $8,890,600 face value increase to a cost-reimbursement contract.
This contract provides for extension of software verification and validation
effort for the Inertial Upper Stage launch vehicle from July 1997 through April
1998 and adds avionics modifications during that period. Contract is expected
to be completed April 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles,
California, is the contracting activity (F04701-85-C-0056, P00081).
