ARMY
Defense Research, Incorporated, Naples, Fla., was awarded on Oct. 14, 1994, a
$5,600,000 increment as part of a $9,900,000 firm fixed price contract for
175,061 replacement MK66 nozzles for the Hydro 70 rocket. Work will be
performed in Naples, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 1995.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is
a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 30, 1994. The contracting activity
is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill.
(DAAA09-95-C-0001).
NAVY
Interstate Electronics Corporation, Anaheim, Calif., is being awarded a
$39,252,960 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering, logistics, and
operational support services for the C4 backfit, Trident I (C4) and Trident II
(D5) test instrumentation program, which includes the Flight and Test Support
Systems (FTSS), SSBN digital and radio frequency system, and underwater
acoustics and sonar tracking systems. Work will be performed in Anaheim,
Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 1996. Contract funds in the
amount of $25,275,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Program,

Pioneer UAV, Inc., Hunt Valley, Md., is being awarded a $6,724,820
modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0249 to exercise an
option for 10 Pioneer Unmanned Aerial Vehicles with payloads. Work will be
performed in Hunt Valley, Md., (53%), Tel Aviv and Lod, Israel (45%), and at
various locations throughout the United States (2%), and is
expected to be completed by August 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington,
D.C., is the contracting activity.
TRW, Inc., Avionics and Surveillance Group, San Diego, Calif., is being
awarded a $37,994,986 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the development and
integration of a Heavy Fuel Engine (HFE) for the Joint Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
(JT-UAV). Work will be performed in Burlington, Vt. (34%), Sierra Vista,
Ariz. (33%), and Tel Aviv, Israel (33%), and is expected to be completed by
March 1997. Contract funds in the amount of $4,966,000 will expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under
full and open competition and two offers were received. The Naval Air Systems
Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-89-C-0346).
Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, Newport News, Va., is being
awarded a $15,748,963 modification to previously awarded contract
N00024-91-C-2121 for shipbuilder class design support services for the SSN 688
Class Submarine Program. Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is
expected to be completed by October 1995. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington,
D.C., is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Ivey Mechanical Company, Nashville, Tenn., is being awarded a $5,200,000 firm
fixed price contract. This action provides for replacement of a refrigeration
system at the Arnold Engineering Development Center, Arnold Air Force Base,
Tenn. This effort includes demolition of the existing system and design,
fabrication, installation and test of the new system. Contract is expected to
be completed in April 1996. Contract funds of $2,600,000 will expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. The Arnold Engineering Development Center,

United Technologies Corporation Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Group, Government
Engine and Space Propulsion, West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a
$292,018,758 cost-plus-award fee contract. This action provides for the
FY94/95 Re-Phase Effort for the F119 engines applicable to the F-22 aircraft
development program. This will adjust the program to match with the funding
profile, reschedule the dates of key design milestones for the critical design
review and the first flight, fund additional spare engines, and fund the cost
growth in the program. Contract is expected to be completed in November 2001.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The
Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Exxon Company USA, Houston, Texas, is being awarded an estimated
$21,600,000 modification to a fixed price with economic price adjustment
contract for aviation turbine fuel, JP-4. Two hundred, ninety-two proposals
were solicited and 30 were received. Work will be performed in Billings,
Mont., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 1995. Funds will not expire
at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Alexandria,
Va., is the contracting activity (DLA600-94-D-0526 P00002).
DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY
Bolt Beranek and Newman, Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $14,573,265
extension to a firm-fixed-price/cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for all Defense
Data Network hardware and software support, maintenance of all Defense Data
Network hardware, network diagnostic and analysis support, hardware sustaining
engineering, topological performance analysis, and software engineering for a
one-year period. This is a sole-source contract. Work will be performed in
Cambridge, Mass. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office, Scott
