Bell Helicopter Textron Incorporated, Ft. Worth, Texas, is being awarded a
$25,000,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for various
aircraft parts identified by 944 NSNs which are used by four of DLA's supply
centers. This is a requirements contract for three base years and two option
years. Three proposals were solicited and one was received. Work will be
performed in Texas, and is expected to be completed by October 19, 1999. Funds
will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense General Supply

NAVY
National Steel and Shipbuilding Company, San Diego, California, is being
awarded a $436,190,627 modification to previously awarded contract
N00024-93-C-2203 for the detail design and construction of two Strategic
Sealift ships, Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Provisioned Item
Order (PIO), technical manuals, crew orientation and familiarization, and
associated data. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is
expected to be completed by March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington,
D.C., is the contracting activity.
Analysis & Technology, Inc., North Stonington, Connecticut, is being
awarded a $8,434,092 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity,
cost-plus-fixed-fee provisions contract for systems analysis, integration and
certification, data status accounting, field servicing, interface engineering,
test and evaluation, and reliability and quality assurance. Work will be
performed in Middletown, Rhode Island, and is expected to be completed by
October 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Detachment (NUWC), Newport, Rhode

General Systems Solutions, Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a $6,000,000
firm-fixed-price letter contract for the production of 11 A/N37U-1 moored mine
clearing sets, one set of A/N37U-1 peculiar support equipment, and engineering
services. Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and is expected to be
completed by April 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the

Halter Marine, Inc., Gulfport, Mississippi, is being awarded a $46,984,379
firm-fixed-price contract for the detail design and construction of the T-AGS
63 oceanographic survey ship, Provision Technical Documentation (PTD),
technical manuals, and associated data. Work will be performed in Moss Point,
Mississippi, and is expected to be completed by January 1998. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
competitively procured with 12 proposals solicited and one offer received. The
Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity
(N00024-94-C-2300).
