ARMY
Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a
$37,621,099 modification to a $491,012,598 firm fixed price contract for FY94
TOW missile production buy-totals of 2,011 TOW 2Bs, and 2,340 TOW 2As
(definitization of 2,000 TOW 2Bs and 690 TOW 2As and exercise of priced options
for 11 TOW 2Bs and 1,661 2As) for the countries of Israel, Turkey, Germany,
Bahrain, Korea, and Thailand. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and
is expected to be completed by September 30, 1996. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract
initiated on January 14, 1991. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-92-C-0260).
NAVY
Carothers Construction, Inc., Water Valley, Mississippi, is being awarded a
$6,024,000 firm-fixed-price contract for repairs to a combined bachelor
quarters complex. The total contact amount is not-to-exceed $18,951,000.
Work will be performed in Meridian, Mississippi, and is expected to be
completed by August 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 44
proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering
Command, Southern Division, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting
activity (N62467-94-C-0629).
Concurrent Technologies Corporation, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is being awarded
a $23,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for applied research under the Computer
Aided Logistics Support (CALS) Shared Resource Center Program. Work will be
performed in Johnstown, Pennsylvania (52%), Scranton, Pennsylvania (9%),
Atlanta, Georgia (13%), Bremerton, Washington (13%), and Oakland, California
(13%), and is expected to be completed by September 1995. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not
competitively procured. The Naval Regional Contracting Center, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (N00140-95-D-J024).
AIR FORCE
Martin Marietta Technologies, Incorporated, Electronics and Missiles Division,
Orlando, Florida is being awarded a $181,148, 730 firm fixed price contract.
This contract provides for the following Low Altitude Navigation Targeting
Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) components in support of foreign military sales to
the following countries: for Saudi Arabia, 48 sharpshooter pods and 48
navigation pods; for Greece 16 targeting pods and 24 navigation pods; and for
Bahrain, 3 sharpshooter pods. Contract is expected to be completed in July
1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
