NAVY

General Dynamics Corporation, Electric Boat Division, Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a $10,900,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-91-C-4029 for reactor plant planning yard services for nuclear powered submarines. Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

IBM Corporation, Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded a $26,463,445 modification to previously awarded contract N61339-93-C-0004 to exercise an option for the procurement of 68 close combat tactical trainer modules for the U.S. Army. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is expected to be completed by February 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity for the U.S. Army.

ARMY

Sytex, Incorporated*, Doylestown, Pennsylvania, is being awarded an increment (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) as part of an estimated $4,224,146 basic year to a potential estimated value of $26,956,183 time and materials contract for cost analysis, systems analysis, program analysis, management analysis and fiscal management for the Resource Management and Program Analysis and Evaluation Directorates. Work will be performed at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (82.5%), Fort Belvoir, Virginia (10%), Falls Church, Virginia (7%), and Vint Hill, Virginia (.5%), and is expected to be completed by October 27, 1999 (including options). There was an announcement by electronic bulletin board on May 6, 1994, and 3 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-95-D-H001).

Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $7,311,983 modification to a firm fixed price contract for the FY94 TOW missile production buy, total 368 TOW 2Bs. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1996. Of the total contract funds, $7,311,983 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on January 14, 1991. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-92-C-0260).

Electrospace Systems, Incorporated, Richardson, Texas, is being awarded a $13,218,587 modification to a firm fixed price production contract exercising options for the production of 16 TROJAN Special Purpose Integrated Remote Intelligence Terminal (SPIRIT) II Systems with no-cost warranty, training and data, and one TROJAN Transportable Mini-Switch (TTMS) System with no-cost warranty and data. The TROJAN SPIRIT II System is an integration of commercial and non-developmental items consisting of a HMMWV mounted shelter with Mobile Antenna Platform (MAP) providing an intelligence processing and dissemination capability via SATCOM communications in support of split-based operations; and another HMMWV mounted shelter providing spare equipment and maintenance (SEM) capability. The TTMS provides an intra-theatre switching capability for the TROJAN SPIRIT II Systems and other intelligence systems within the TROJAN architecture. Work will be performed in Richardson, Texas, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 122 bids solicited on March 19, 1993, and 4 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Warrenton, Virginia (DAAB10-93-C-0037).

Conventional Munitions Systems, Incorporated, Tampa, Florida, is being awarded a $6,952,821 modification to a firm fixed price contract for Dragon Safety Circuits Installation and retrofit of Dragon I Missiles with Dragon II Warheads. Work will be performed in Woodberry, Arkansas (90%), and Titusville, Florida (10%), and is expected to be completed by May 31, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 2, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-94-C-S076).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Roy F. Weston, Incorporated, West Chester, Pennsylvania, is being awarded an increment (appropriation number and dollar value will be released with each delivery order) as part of a not-to-exceed $10,000,000 (2 year base contract plus 3 one-year options) firm fixed price/cost plus fixed fee delivery order contract for remediation work in support of the Hazardous Toxic Radioactive Waste Program of the New England Division. Work will be performed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont and Maine, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 1999. There was an announcement in the Commerce Business Daily on June 10, 1993, and 6 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Waltham, Massachusetts (DACW33-95-D-0002).
