ARMY
Mason & Hanger/Silas Mason Company, Incorporated, Lexington, Kentucky, is
being awarded a $10,059,768 modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract for
the operation and maintenance of a government owned/contractor operated
facility.
Work will be performed at Newport Army Ammunition Plant, Newport,
Indiana, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1995.
Of the total
contract funds, $8,338,763 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This is a sole source contract initiated on November 7, 1990.
The contracting
activity is the U.S. Armament, Munitions, and Chemical Command, Rock Island,
Illinois (DAAA09-90-Z-0002).
