ARMY

IBM Corporation (novating to Loral Federal Systems-Owego), Owego, New York, was awarded on December 16, 1994, a $12,720,547 modification to a firm fixed price contract for six additional Communications High Accuracy Location Systems (exploitable receivers, processors, cables, testing and spares). Work will be performed in Owego, New York, and is expected to be completed by August 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source letter contract initiated on August 8, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Warrenton, Virginia (DAAB10-93-C-0007).

Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded an $8,762,691 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 344 STINGER Block I Missiles. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1996. Of the total contract funds, $7,560,080 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 24, 1993. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-93-C-0264).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Mississippi Limestone Corporation*, Friars Point, Mississippi, is being awarded a $1,000 increment as part of a $6,278,907 firm fixed price contract for a casting mattress (170,000 square feet), Portland cement (385,900 cubic feet), and fly ash (65,450 cubic feet) for flood control of the Mississippi River and tributaries. Work will be performed at Richardson Landing, Tipton County, Tennessee, and is expected to be completed by September 18, 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 89 bids solicited on September 11, 1994, and 3 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis, Tennessee (DACW66-95-C-0037).

NAVY

General Dynamics Corporation, Electric Boat Division, Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a $100,186,720 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for ship support services for new construction and operational Ohio Class submarines. Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut (60%), Kings Bay, Georgia (14%), Newport and Quonset, Rhode Island (13%), Bangor, Washington (8%), and Arlington, Virginia (5%), and is expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $43,249,887 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Northeast Construction Company,* Jacksonville, North Carolina, is being awarded a $22,249,148 not-to-exceed contract for renovations of 379 housing units at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Work is expected to be completed by August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 130 proposals solicited and five offers received. Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Bethpage, New York, is being awarded a $5,130,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-G-0028 for services and repairs of installation kits onboard four E-2C "Hawkeye" aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Florida, and is expected to be completed by October 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $8,017,785 firm-fixed-price contract for retrofit kits installed onboard the AV-8B "Harrier" aircraft. These retrofit kits will incorporate the global positioning systems and tactical air and navigation systems into the aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed by June 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $3,287,292 would have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. United Defense LP (UDLP), Ground Systems Division, Santa Clara, California, is being awarded a $6,031,864 modification to previously awarded contract M67854-93-C-0052 for trade studies, system analyses, and the design of a full-scale, operational vehicle commander/weapons station mockup for the Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAAV). Work will be performed in Santa Clara, California, and is expected to be completed by March 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Norfolk Shipbuilding & Drydock Corporation, Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $8,060,153 firm-fixed-price contract for the Extended Selected Restricted Availability (ESRA) of USS BRISCOE (DD 977). Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by July 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. BBN Systems & Technologies, Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $10,470,211 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to propose, analyze, and review conceptual sonar systems. Work will be performed in New London, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by November 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. MacGregor Navire (USA), Inc., Vienna, Virginia, is being awarded a $33,407,711 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-93-C-2220 for class standard equipment (four shipsets) for Strategic Sealift Ships, operation of cranes, engineering/technical services, technical manuals, provisioning technical documentation, and related data. Work will be performed in Gulfport, Mississippi (50%) Kansas City, Missouri (25%) and Ornskoldsvik, Sweden (25%), and is expected to be completed by February 1996. McLaughlin Research Corporation, Waterford, Connecticut, is being awarded a $5,256,653 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for periscope repair and related technical services in support of the Repair, Overhaul and Restoration (ROR) and Inventory Control Programs. Work will be performed in Waterford, Connecticut (90%), and at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, New London, Connecticut (10%), and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. AIR FORCE

IBM Corporation, Federal Systems Company, Owego, New York, is being awarded a $12,324,800 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract. This contract provides for procurement of an organic depot support system for Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Georgia, in support of the AP-102A mission computer. The AP-102A is applicable to the MC-130H, AC-130U, F-117A, MH-60K and MH-47E aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed May 1997. Contract funds of $12,324,800 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
