BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE ORGANIZATION

BDM Federal, Inc., of McLean, Virginia is being awarded a $37,153,546 cost-plus-fixed-fee (with an award fee feature) contract for Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance support for ballistic missile defense services required by the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO). Work will be performed at Arlington, VA and is expected to be completed in December 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. One hundred five bids were solicited and two were received. The contracting activities are the Technology Readiness and Strategic Relations Deputates, BMDO, Washington, D.C., HQ0006-95-C-0006. ARMY

Grumman Data Systems Corporation, Herndon, Virginia, was awarded on December 22, 1994, an increment (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) as part of a $48,443,249 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost plus fixed fee contract for systems integration services for the Total Systems Life Cycle for Health Care Program. Martin Marietta Corporation/Westinghouse Electric Corporation, The Longbow Joint Venture, Orlando, Florida, was awarded on December 23, 1994, a $30,529,937 modification to a fixed price incentive contract for long leadtime items and initial production facilitization in support of FY96 low rate initial production for the Longbow Missile. Martin Marietta Management and Data Systems, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was awarded on December 23, 1994, $15,238,395 as part of a $79,379,205 hybrid, cost plus award fee, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the Army Global Command and Control System (AGCCS). AGCCS will be the Army component of the Global Command and Control System (GCCS) and shall be designed to enhance inter-operability, ensure software, technology reuse, and minimize duplication among C2 systems. M W Builders, Temple, Texas, was awarded on December 23, 1994, a $21,540,000 firm fixed price construction contract for modernization of seven barracks to current standards. The work on the existing buildings includes demolition of interior and exterior walls, mechanical and electrical systems, piping and valves, water closets, and asbestos and lead based paint removal. The existing columns and deck structure will remain. Supporting facilities include heating, ventilation and air conditioning, utilities, electric service, paving, walks, and site improvement. Work will be performed at Fort Hood, Texas, and is expected to be completed by February 14, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. General Dynamics Land Systems, Tallahassee Operations, Tallahassee, Florida, was awarded on December 23, 1994, a $9,854,627 cost plus fixed fee contract for engineering, maintenance, and field services in support of the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS). Midwest Construction Company*, Nebraska City, Nebraska, was awarded on December 22, 1994, a $100,000 increment as part of an $11,108,569 firm fixed price contract for excavation of a new channel, placement of riprap and cellular concrete mats, construction of storm drains, wetland areas, tree planting and turfing at Sims Bayou, Harris County. Work will be performed in Houston, Texas, and is expected to be completed by January 24, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Parker Hannifin Corporation, Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division, Andover, Ohio, is being awarded a $15,859,450 firm-fixed-price contract to provide 17,930 turbine nozzles to support the F-18 aircraft. On December 23 the Air awarded TRW Incorporated , Defense Systems Group $56,348,419 cost plus award fee contract. This action provides for FY1995 continuous engineering support and technical assistance for the Silo Based Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Weapon System and the Strategic Missile Command. Contract is expected to be completed December 1999. Contract funds will in the amount of $15,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
