 ARMY

            AM General, LLC, South Ben, Ind., was awarded a $546,464,268 firm-fixed-price contract March 4, 2011.  The award will provide for the procurement of 2,845 High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles.  Work will be performed in Mishawaka, Ind., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2012.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-10-C-0405).

            Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, Conn., was awarded a $129,424,983 firm-fixed-price contract March 4, 2011.  The award will provide for the procurement of UH-60M Helicopters, HH-60M Helicopters, MH-60S Helicopters and MH-60R Helicopters.  Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2012.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.   The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-08-C-0003).

            General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Marion, Ill., was awarded a $32,502,374 firm-fixed-price contract March 4, 2011.  The award will provide for the procurement of 1,224,641 30mm PGU-13B/B High Explosive Incendiary Remanufacture Cartridges and 30mm PGU-13D/B HEI Cartridges.  Work will be performed in Marion, Ill., with an estimated completion date of July 21, 2012.  The bid was restricted to the Industrial Base with two bids received.  The U.S. Army Rock Island Contracting Center, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-11-C-0029).

            Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc., Columbia, Md., was awarded a $24,899,792 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed price line-item-number contract March 4, 2011.  The award will provide for logistics support, property accountability services, operator-level maintenance and readiness management operations in support of Retrograde Assistance Teams in Afghanistan.  Work will be performed in Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of Sep. 24, 2011.  Ten bids were solicited with seven bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Contracting Center, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-10-D-0097).

            Buck Town Contractors & Co., Kenner, La., was awarded a $19,806,576 firm-fixed-price contract March 7, 2011.  The award will provide for construction of reinforced concrete canal sections and transitions to tie into the existing concrete box culverts and construction of three box culvert bridges.  Miscellaneous excavation, demolition and clearing shall also be performed.  Work will be performed in Jefferson Parish, La., with an estimated completion date of Sep. 14, 2013.  The bid was solicited through the Internet with seven bids received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (W912P8-11-C-0033).

            Federal Prison Industries, Washington, D.C., was awarded a $19,767,468 firm-fixed-price contract March 4, 2011.  The award will provide for the procurement of Outer Tactical Vests for Pakistan.  Work will be performed in Yazoo City, Miss., with an estimated completion date of Oct. 15, 2011.  One sole-source bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W91CRB-08-D-0045).

            Armacel Armor Corporation, Camarillo, Calif., was awarded a $14,174,832 firm-fixed-price contract March 4, 2011.  The award will provide for the procurement of Small Arms Protective Inserts for Pakistan.  Work will be performed in Camarillo, Calif., with an estimated completion date of Oct. 15, 2011.  Four bids were solicited with four bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W91CRB-08-D-0060).

            CACI-WGI, Inc., Vienna, Va., was awarded a $12,029,252 cost-plus-fixed-fee, time-and-material contract March 4, 2011.  The award will provide for non-personal services necessary to perform administration, security, operations, logistic, acquisition and technical management functions to the Army.  Work will be performed in Fort Belvoir, Va., with an estimated completion date of Sep. 30, 2011.  The bid was solicited through the Internet with three bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W9124Q-06-C-0123).

            Avon Protection Systems, Inc., was awarded a $7,599,051 firm-fixed-price contract March 4, 2011.  The award will provide for the procurement of 428,009 M61 canisters in support of the Joint Services General Purpose Mask for the Joint Program Office-Protection for sustainment.  Work will be performed in Cadillac, Mich., with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2011.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-11-C-0221).
