$6,387,942 increment as part of a $9,953,849 firm fixed price contract for
Distributed Virtual Memory Development, a research effort designed to enhance
utilization of existing computer capacity. Work will be performed in Mountain
View, California (95%) and Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland (5%), and is
expected to be completed by January 9, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This was a broad agency announcement on

NAVY
Analysis & Technology, Inc., North Stonington, Connecticut, is being
awarded a $12,843,901 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity,
cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering services in the form of technical
analysis and review of warfare system operational performance in support of
attack submarine and ballistic missile submarine platforms and warfare systems.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was competitively procured with 54 proposals solicited and two offers
received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Detachment, New London,
Connecticut, is the contracting activity (N66604-95-D-0463).
Central Gulf Lines, New Orleans, Louisiana, is being awarded a $13,231,167
time charter contract for the charter of the ship SS Austral Rainbow for a
period of 17 months. The SS Austral Rainbow is a barge vessel which will be
used to transport U.S. Air Force cargo. This contract contains two 17-month
options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the
contract to $39,811,000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 50
proposals solicited and three offers received. The U.S. Navy's Military
Sealift Command, Central Technical Activity, is the contracting activity
