McKesson Drug Company, San Francisco, California, is being awarded a
$49,835,886.66 firm fixed price Prime Vendor contract for pharmaceutical
products. Four hundred thirty one proposals were solicited and seven were
received. Work will be performed in Landover, Maryland, and is expected to be
completed by January 15, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal
year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the
contracting activity (DLA120-92-R-0671).

ARPA
IBM - T.J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, New York, is being
awarded a $470,000 increment as part of a $7,600,000 cost-share contract for
the development of advanced opto-electronic and fiber optic communications to
improve performance of fiber optic networks. Work will be performed in
Yorktown Heights, New York, and is expected to be completed by January 7, 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was
a broad agency announcement (93-38), and 13 bids were received. The
contracting activity is the Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington,
Virginia (MDA972-95-C-0001).
NAVY
General Dynamics Corporation, Electric Boat Division, Groton, Connecticut, is
being awarded a $206,769,828 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for 275,000 man-hours
of engineering technical support services and program support for the design,
manufacture, and test phase of the New Attack Submarine Main Propulsion Unit
(MPU) and Ships Service Turbine Generator (SSTG). Work will be performed in
Groton, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by December 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command,
Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-95-C-4030).
