ARMY
Olin Defense Systems/Winchester Group, Independence, Missouri, was awarded on
January 20, 1995, a $5,574,123 modification to a cost plus award fee contract
for the operation and maintenance of a government owned/contractor operated
facility. Work will be performed at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant,
Independence, Missouri, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1995.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There

the end of the current fiscal year. There were 106 bids solicited on September

NAVY
General Electric Company, Aircraft Engine Business Group, Lynn, Massachusetts,
is being awarded a $5,500,000 modification to previously awarded contract
N00019-86-C-0247 for FY 95 integrated logistics support services for the
F/A-18C/D F404 aircraft engine. This contract combines purchases for the U.S.
Navy (84.5%), and the governments of Spain (4.7%), Kuwait (2.7%), Finland
(2.7%), Switzerland (2.7%), and Malaysia (2.7%), under the Foreign Military
Sales Program (FMS). Work will be performed in Lynn, Massachusetts, and is
expected to be completed by September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington,
D.C., is the contracting activity.
Mark Diversified, Inc., Sacramento, California, is being awarded a $16,397,000
firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of a maintenance complex at
Travis Air Force Base, Fairfield, California, for the U.S. Air Force. Work is
expected to be completed within 16 months. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured
with five proposals solicited and three offers received. The Engineering Field
Activity West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San Bruno, California, is
