DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Genco Corporation, Chattanooga, Tennessee, is being awarded a
$6,119,798.67 firm fixed price contract for 171,279 pairs of intermediate
cold/wet gloves. One hundred proposals were solicited and four were received.
Work will be performed in Tennessee and Wisconsin and is expected to be
completed by May 21, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal
year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the
contracting activity (SPO100-95-D-4007).
ARMY
GTE Government Systems Corporation, Taunton, Massachusetts, is being awarded a
$5,325,000 modification to a firm fixed price, economic price adjustment
contract for production of the Mobile Subscriber Equipment system. The
modification is the final installment of a five-year value engineering savings
agreement for savings over the life of the $4,369,952,566.50 contract, and was
scheduled for payment in Fiscal Year 1996. Work will be performed in Taunton,
Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by November 30, 1996. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 143
bids solicited on the original, basic MSE contract on February 7, 1984, and two
bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Communications and
Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. (DAAB07-86-C-X022)
Contract Fabrication and Design, Incorporated, Princeton, Texas, is being
awarded a $6,692,533 firm fixed price contract for production of 111 pod
assembly/ammo feed systems for the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopter. Work will
be performed in Princeton, Texas, and is expected to be completed not later
than June 29, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on August 19, 1994. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command,

Hercules, Incorporated, Hercules Aerospace Company, Wilmington, Delaware, is
being awarded a $6,756,847.95 modification to a cost plus award fee, cumulative
total value $638,696,212.07 contract. The contract is for the operation and
maintenance of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant, a government-owned,
contractor-operated facility. This modification is for the purchase of
materials used in the manufacture of the MK-90 propellant grain for the
2.75-inch rocket. Work will be performed at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant
in Radford, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1995.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is
a sole source contract initiated on February 1, 1990. The contracting activity
is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island,

NAVY
Lincoln Builders, Inc., Ruston, Louisiana, is being awarded a $6,269,000
firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a flight simulator facility at
Barksdale Air Force Base, Shreveport, Louisiana, for the U.S. Air Force. Work
is expected to be completed by October 1995. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured
with 16 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, Southern Division, Charleston, South Carolina, is the
contracting activity for the U.S. Air Force (N62467-93-C-1119).
AIR FORCE
CAE Link Corporation, Link Training Services Division, Dallas-Fort Worth
Airport, Texas, is being awarded an $8,016,034 face value increase to a
firm-fixed-price contract for conversion of a DC-10 simulator to the KC-10
simulator conversion. The work will be performed at Binghamton, New York.
Contract is expected to be completed March 1996. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Ogden Air Logistics Center,
Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F25606-92-D-0004,
QP03).
ITT Federal Services International Corporation, Colorado Springs, Colorado, is
being awarded a $50,676,792 cost-plus-award-fee contract for operation and
maintenance support at Rhein Main Air Base, Germany, from 1 April 1995 through
30 September 1995. The work will be performed at Rhein Main Air Base, Germany.
Contract is expected to be completed September 1999. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Sixty-three bids were solicited
and ten proposals were received. The solicitation was issued May 1994 and
negotiations were completed December 1994. The Contracting Squadron, Unit
3115, United States Air Forces in Europe, is the contracting activity
(F61521-95-C-5000).
USSOCOM
Electrospace Inc., of Richardson, Texas, is being awarded an initial
production contract for Special Operations Vehicles and ancillary equipment and
data. This firm fixed price contract provides four option years from FY 1996
through FY 1999 to procure range priced quantities of hardware and data. The
estimated value of all years is $62,253,786.00. Performance is at the
contractor's Richardson, Texas, facility. The contracting activity is the
U.S.Special Operations Command Directorate of Procurement, MacDill AFB, Florida
