NAVY
Rockwell International Corporation, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a
$7,300,683 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-92-C-0032 to
exercise an option for control display navigation units for the Global
Positioning System. Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is
expected to be completed by September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington,
D.C., is the contracting activity.
Boeing Defense & Space Group, Helicopter Division, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $79,935,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the
procurement of 95 dynamic component upgrade kits for the H-46 helicopter. Work
will be performed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is expected to be
completed by August 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval
Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity

ARMY
Virtexco Corporation, Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded $11,392,407 as part
of a potential value $12,769,267 (basic plus 7 options) firm fixed price
contract for revitalization of 68 family housing units and lead based paint
abatement. Work will be performed at Fort Monroe, Virginia, and is expected to
be completed by October 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were 60 bids solicited on September 12, 1994,
and 1 bid received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Norfolk, Virginia (DACA65-95-C-0049).
MDP Construction, Incorporated, Colorado Springs, Colorado, is being awarded a
$6,814,247 firm fixed price contract to upgrade existing roads and facilities
within the G-block area. The project includes three pre-engineered metal
buildings, two are existing will be
modified and the third will be a new facility. Support facilities include
utilities, electric service, fire protection, storm drainage and site
improvements. Work will be performed at Pueblo Depot Activity, Colorado, and
is expected to be completed by August 11, 1996. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 10 bids solicited on October
31, 1994, and 7 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers, Omaha, Nebraska (DACA45-95-C-0016).
Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a
$12,590,957 modification to a firm fixed price contract for definitization of
the Ignition Safety Device (ISD) Engineering Change Proposal for the TOW 2AISD
Missile. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be
completed by September 30, 1996. Of the total contract funds, $12,590,957 will
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract
initiated on June 14, 1991. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile
Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-92-C-0260).
AIR FORCE
Government Systems Corporation, Imagery and Intelligence Processing, Westlake
Village, California, is being awarded an 11,762,008 face value increase to a
cost-plus-award-fee contract. This contract is for software and hardware
upgrades to the Computer Aided Tactical Information System and the Requirements
Management System in support of the Department of Defense Intelligence
Information System. Contract is expected to be completed April 1997. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Rome
