ARMY

            GAP Solutions, Inc., Reston, Va. (W9124J-12-D-0006), and Advancia Corp., Oklahoma City, Okla. (W9124J-12-D-04), were awarded a $983,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple-award-task-order contract between seven contractors.  The award will provide for the support base services at various Army installations.  Work location will be determined with each task order, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2016.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with 31 bids received.  The Mission and Installation Contracting Office, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is the contracting activity.

U.S. TRANSPORTATION COMMAND

            U.S. Transportation Command is modifying contracts with Maersk Line, Ltd., Norfolk, Va. (for a face value of $197,000,000; modification to modification to HTC711-09- D-0040); American President Lines, Ltd., Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz. (for a face value of $147,000,000; modification to HTC711-09-D-0028); Farrell Lines, Inc., Norfolk, Va. (for a face value of $44,000,000; modification to modification to HTC711-09- D-0034); American Roll-on, American Roll-off Carrier, L.L.C., Park Ridge, N.J. (for a face value of $40,000,000; modification to modification to HTC711-09-D-0029); Liberty Global Logistics, L.L.C., Lake Success, N.Y. (for a face value of $28,000,000; modification to modification to HTC711-09- D-0039); Hapag-Lloyd USA, L.L.C., Tampa, Fla. (for a face value of $25,000,000; modification to modification to HTC711-09- D-0036); and Central Gulf Lines, Inc., Mobile, Ala. (for a face value of $9,000,000; modification to modification to HTC711-09-D-0031).  These modifications will extend the period of performance under the Universal Services Contract-6 Program for an additional three months, March 31 to June 30, 2012.  These contracts provide ocean and intermodal distribution services worldwide.  Funds are only obligated upon cargo bookings and the amounts above are only an estimate to cover the three-month extension, as needed.  U.S. Transportation Command, Directorate of Acquisition, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

            Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $56,750,000 advance acquisition contract to provide long lead parts and components required for the manufacture of Lot 10 UH-1Y (15) and AH-1Z (13) helicopters for the Marine Corps in support of the H-1 upgrade program.  Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (60 percent), and Amarillo, Texas (40 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2013.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-12-C-0009).

            General Electric Aviation, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded an $8,831,994 order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-09-G-0009) for the F404 Component Improvement Program to include engineering and engine system improvement support.  Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed in December 2012.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

            General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, Burlington, Vt., is being awarded a $6,875,640 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-5141) for the production of Aegis gun and guided missile directors, MK82 Mod 0; and Aegis director controllers, MK 200 Mod 0 in support of DDG 116.  The MK 82 director serves to position the fire control system antenna to a position in space for the purpose of illuminating the target.  The director controller MK 200 houses the solid-state servo-amplifiers providing the servo drive signals, which then position the director to the desired target position.  Work will be performed in Burlington, Vt., and is expected to be completed by January 2014.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

            The Boeing Co., Huntington Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $20,693,458 a firm-fixed-price for procurement of 17,873-507 very high frequency/ultra high frequency modules for the Combat Survivor Evader Locator hand held radio and installation of the new module into 3,273 hand held radios.  The location of the performance is Huntington Beach, Calif.  Work is expected to be completed by April 30, 2013.  Space and Nuclear Networks Division, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (FA8807-05-C-0004 P00084).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

            AmeriQual Group, L.L.C., Evansville, Ind., was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $15,864,815 for various polymeric entree ration items.  There are no other locations of performance.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.  There were two responses to the Web solicitation.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Defense Working Capital Funds.  The date of performance completion is Feb. 28, 2013.  The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM3S1-12-D-Z197).
