NAVY

GPS Technologies, Inc., Federal Systems Group, Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a $7,565,444 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing arrangement for technical, logistic, and management support services for submarine electromagnetic systems and equipment, in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Submarine Electromagnetic Systems Department, Periscope Data Center, New London, Connecticut. Work will be performed in New London, Connecticut (20%), and Newport, Rhode Island (80%), and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 54 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Detachment, New London, Connecticut, is the contracting activity (N66604-95-D-0024).

ARMY

J. L. Malone & Associates, Incorporated*, Albany, Georgia, is being awarded a $5,994,000 firm fixed price contract for repair of electrical distribution, Phase VI, which consists of replacement of existing 46 KV transmission lines, and replacement switching #17. Work will be performed at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, and is expected to be completed by August 7, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 57 bids solicited on July 8, 1994, and seven bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Alabama (DACA01-95-C-0044).

AIR FORCE

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $19,225,907 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract. This contract provides for the following enhancement modification kits for the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft: nine Group A Modification Kits, 12 Control Power Supply Upgrades, 10 Left Elevator Commodity Kits, 10 Right Elevator Commodity Kits, nine Weather Radome Commodity Kits and associated spare parts, technical orders and data. Contract is expected to be completed October 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, is the contracting activity

(F19628-94-C-0089, P00003).

Lockheed Corporation, Lockheed Fort Worth Company, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $6,929,421 (Estimated) face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for 17 Microwave Measurement Units applicable to the F-16 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed July 1996. Contract funds of $6,929,421 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42600-89-C-0832, PM0376).
