DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

            Yale Co., a division of NACCO Materials Handling Group, Greenville, N.C., was issued a fixed-price with economic adjustment contract with a maximum $633,000,000 for material handling equipment.  This contract is one of up to 23 being issued against solicitation SPM8EC-11-R-0001.  Other location of performance is Berea, Ky.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.  There were 26 proposals and 26 responses.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 through 2017 Defense Working Capital Funds.  The date of performance completion is April 6, 2017.  The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM8EC-12-D-0002).

            L&M Welding*, Mobile, Ala., was issued a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $8,500,000 for torch repair kits.  There are no other locations of performance.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.  There was one response to the Web proposal.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Defense Working Capital Funds.  The date of performance completion is April 8, 2014.  The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM8EG-12-D-0003).

ARMY

            Textron Marine & Land Systems, New Orleans, La., was awarded a $71,446,654 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract to procure medium armored security vehicles (MASV) with objective gunner protection kits, and MASVs with turrets and ambulances.  Work will be performed in Slidell, La., with an estimated completion date of May 26, 2014.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-11-C-0114).

            Hamilton Sundstrand Corp., Windsor Locks, Conn., was awarded a $46,780,633 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the overhaul/upgrade services of the T700 fuel control in support of the UH-60 Black Hawk.  Work will be performed in Windsor Locks, Conn., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 30, 2017.  The bid was solicited through the Internet, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-12-D-0073).

            Northrop Grumman Enterprise Management Services Corp., Herndon, Va., was awarded a $41,000,000 cost-plus-award-fee contract.  The award will provide for the logistic support services.  Work will be performed in Fort Irwin, Calif., with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2012.  Seven bids were solicited, with seven bids received.  The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Irwin, Calif., is the contracting activity (W911SE-07-D-0016).

            General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Inc., St. Petersburg, Fla., was awarded a $38,811,085 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for the procurement and refurbishment of 120mm tank training ammunition.  Work will be performed in St. Petersburg, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2016.  Two bids were solicited, with two bids received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-12-C-0026).

NAVY

            Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises*, Milwaukee, Wis. (N69450-12-D-0042); VEETech, P.C.*, Cary, N.C. (N69450-12-D-0043); Kemron Environmental Services, Inc.*, Atlanta, Ga. (N69450-12-D-0044); Ensafe, Inc.*, Memphis, Tenn. (N69450-12-D-0045); and J2 Engineering, Inc.*, Tampa, Fla. (N69450-12-D-0046), are each being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract for performing remedial actions at environmentally contaminated sites predominately at Navy and Marine Corps installations and other government agencies within the state of Florida.  No task orders are being issued at this time.  The maximum dollar value, including the base period and four option years, for all five contracts combined is $30,000,000.  Work will be performed in the state of Florida, however although principle geographical areas are identified for the contract, the contractor may be required to provide service coverage to any Naval Facilities Engineering Command area of responsibility in the continental United States and outside continental United States required by the government.  The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of April 2017.  Contract funds in the amount of $25,000 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured as a 100-percent small business set-aside via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 24 proposals received.  These five contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity.

            Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $14,495,712 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-09-C-0069) to exercise an option for 168 RT-1851A(C)/ARC receiver-transmitters (including royalty fees) for the government of Saudi Arabia under the Foreign Military Sales program.  The work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expected to be completed in December 2013.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
