AIR FORCE
McDonnell Douglas Government Aerospace, Transport Aircraft, Long Beach,
California, is being awarded a $5,649,982 firm-fixed-price contract. This
contract provides for removal of the existing C-17 45/60 KVA Generators and
replaces them with 75/90 KVA Generators to enhance capability by providing more
power to the aircraft. This work modifies four aircraft. Contract is expected
to be completed August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The work will be performed at Charleston Air Force Base,
South Carolina (50%) and Tulsa, Oklahoma (50%). The Aeronautical Systems
Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity

ARMY
Martin Marietta Technologies, Incorporated/Westinghouse Electrical
Corporation, a joint venture, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a $3,521,630
increment as part of a $7,655,717 cost plus award fee contract for
implementation of a cost reduction plan in support of the Longbow HELLFIRE
Modular Missile System. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida (50%), and
Baltimore**, Maryland (50%), and is expected to be completed by December 31,
1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This is a sole source contract initiated on January 20, 1995. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama
(DAAH01-95-C-0092).
Kaman Sciences Corporation, Colorado Springs, Colorado, is being awarded a
$1,435,000 increment as part of an $8,814,670 cost plus fixed fee contract for
the Chemical Biological Smoke Simulation Program. The objective is to enhance
the capability of the virtual distributed interactive simulation (DIS) to
assess the effects of chemical biological agents and smoke on military
operations and human/system performance. Work will be performed in
Alexandria, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by February 16, 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
was a broad agency announcement on April 15, 1994, and 59 bids were received.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Chemical and Biological Chemical
Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland (DAAM01-95-C-0014).
Olin Corporation, Stamford, Connecticut, is being awarded a $5,163,256
modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract for the operation and
maintenance of a government owned/contractor operated facility. Work will be
performed at the Badger Army Ammunition Plant, Baraboo, Wisconsin, and is
expected to be completed by December 31, 1995. Of the total contract funds,
$51,532 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole
source contract initiated on December 1, 1986. The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois
(DAAA09-85-Z-0007).
