ARMY
Olin Defense Systems/Winchester Group, Independence, Missouri, is being
awarded a $10,913,600 modification to a cost plus award fee contract for the
operation and maintenance of a government owned/contractor operated facility.
Work will be performed at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, Independence,
Missouri, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1995. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 17
bids solicited on October 3, 1984, and 7 bids received. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock

W. T. Byler Company, Incorporated, Houston, Texas, is being awarded a
$12,399,583 firm fixed price contract for construction of a live fire complex,
consisting of three ambush sites with rail mounted moving targets, three
fortified positions, two rehearsal trenches, 10 aggregate-surface roads with
side ditches, drainage, six low water crossings, and one 1,200 square foot
battery shop. Work will be performed at Fort Polk, Louisiana, and is expected
to be completed by April 28, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were 32 bids solicited on November 28, 1994,
and 4 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas (DACA63-95-C-0033).
NAVY
Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Manufacturing Integration and Test Site,
Sykesville, Maryland, is being awarded a $20,000,000 modification to previously
awarded contract N00024-92-C-6312 for AN/SQQ-89 design agent services. The
AN/SQQ-89 is a surface ship Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) combat system utilized
on board DDG 51 Class AEGIS destroyers. Work will be performed in Sykesville,
Maryland, and is expected to be completed by September 1995. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems
Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Northrop Grumman Electronics Division, Electronics Systems Group, Hawthorne,
California, is being awarded a $9,918,000 face value increase to a
cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. This contract provides for the Peacekeeper
Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) Weapons System Support. This involves
evaluation of engineering fixes, preparation of kits, and flight test support
of the IMU. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Space and
Missile Systems Center, San Bernardino, California, is the contracting activity
(F04704-88-C-0028, P00083).
Piqunio Management Corporation, Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a
$6,958,681 firm-fixed-price with cost reimbursement line items contract. This
action provides base operation, maintenance, and support services of Eareckson
Air Station, Alaska. Contract is expected to be completed February 1996.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

solicitation was issued October 1994 and negotiations were completed February

UNC Lear Siegler Incorporated, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is being awarded a
$23,700,523 (Estimated) firm-fixed-price contract for a total of 421 Direct
Manning Personnel to augment and assist the Royal Saudi Air Force in the
operations, maintenance and training functions related to their F-5 aircraft.
Contract is expected to be completed August 1995. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was solicited and one
proposal was received. The solicitation was issued January 1995 and
negotiations were completed February 1995. The San Antonio Air Logistics

CORRECTION:
The announcement that the McDonnell Douglas Government Aerospace, Transport
Aircraft, Long Beach, California, was awarded a $5,649,982 yesterday was in
error. The contract was let today.
