ARMY

Thiokol Corporation, Brigham City, Utah, is being awarded a $10,499,470 firm fixed price contract for 17,470 2.75-inch rocket M257 illumination warheads in support of the HYDRA 70 Rocket System. Work will be performed in Brigham City, Utah, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on September 30, 1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-95-C-0011).

Holston Defense Corporation, Kingsport, Tennessee, is being awarded a $14,983,374 modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract for the operation and maintenance of a government owned/contractor operated facility. Work will be performed at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant, Kingsport, Tennessee, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on January 1, 1983. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-92-Z-0008).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Sjostrom & Sons, Incorporated, Rockford, Illinois, is being awarded an increment as part of a $5,056,044 firm fixed price construction contract for local flood protection, Stage 11A-2, Loves Park Creek. Work will be performed in Loves Park, Winnebago County, Illinois, and is expected to be completed by February 25, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 821 bids solicited on December 9, 1994, and four bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island, Illinois (DACW25-95-C-0025).

NAVY

Martin Marietta, Ocean, Radar and Sensor Systems, Syracuse, New York, is being awarded a $49,982,009 cost-plus-award-fee contract for the development of an Integrated Power System (IPS) for both ship's electrical service and electric propulsion. Work will be performed in Syracuse, New York (67%), Rugby, England (27%), and Arlington, Virginia (6%), and is expected to be completed by March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was procured under full and open competition and two offers were received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-95-C-4109).

Kaman Aerospace Corporation, Bloomfield, Connecticut, is being awarded a $31,000,000 letter contract for long lead materials and services to upgrade 10 SH-2F helicopters to SH-2G(E) helicopters for the Arab Republic of Egypt under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Bloomfield, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by June 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-95-C-0127).

OC, Inc., Lorton, Virginia, is being awarded a $8,559,814 cost-plus-fixed-fee indefinite delivery order for engineering, logisitics, production, maintenance and manpower technical services to support aviation training programs through the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Keyport, Washington. Work will be performed in Lorton, Virginia (80%), Keyport, Washington (10%), and at various sites (10%), and is expected to be completed by February 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 172 bids solicited and 3 received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound, Bremerton, Washington, is the contracting activity (N00406-95-D-5062).

AIR FORCE

Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Electronic Systems Group, Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded a $17,000,000 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive-firm contract. This contract provides for changes in the requirements of the User System Interface and the schedule portion of the Requirements, Development, Planning and Evaluation effort for the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (F19628-89-C-0138, P00074).

McDonnell Dougals Government Aerospace Transport Aircraft, Long Beach, California, is being awarded a $10,120,000 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive-firm contract. This contract provides for the First Evaluation Period (1 June 1994 - 31 December 1994) Award Fee for the Lot VI C-17 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed August 1997. McDonnell Douglas Government Aerospace, Transport Aircraft, Long Beach, California, is being awarded a $15,880,000 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive-firm contract. This contract provides for Second Evaluation Period (1 June 1994 - 31 December 1994) Award Fee for the Lot V C-17 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds of $15,880,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
