ARMY
Hughes Missile System Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded $6,206,000 as
part of an $8,902,400 (potential value if options are exercised) cost plus
fixed fee contract for 1995 repair and rebuilding of Stinger Depot Level
Maintenance Facilities. Work will be performed in San Diego, California (84%),
Tucson, Arizona (8%), Fort Bliss, Texas (8%), and if options are exercised, in
Germany. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This is a sole source contract initiated on October 14, 1994. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama
(DAAH01-95-C-0010).
NAVY
The George Sollitt Construction Co., Wood Dale, Illinois, is being awarded a
$15,450,000 firm-fixed-price contract for building renovations at the Naval
Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. Work is expected to be completed by
May 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was competitively procured with 88 proposals solicited and
nine offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern
Division, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity
(N62467-94-C-0971).
