DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Petroleum Source and Supply Systems Group, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia, is being
awarded a $6,097,739 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for
the delivery of 3,434,289 dekatherms of direct supply natural gas for delivery
to Maryland and District of Columbia locations. One hundred sixty-five
proposals were solicited and thirteen were received. Work is expected to be
completed by March 31, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal
year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Alexandria, Virginia, is the contracting
activity (SPO600-95-D- 7528).
Maryland Clothing, Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded a $7,747,263 firm
fixed price contract for men's coats. Twenty-seven proposals were solicited
and five were received. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Maryland , and is
expected to be completed by August 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of
the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (DLA100-92-C-0357).
ARMY
EG&G Defense Materials, Incorporated, Tooele, Utah, is being awarded a
$15,600,000 modification to a cost plus award fee contract to add additional
carbon filters to the pollution abatement system at the Tooele Chemical Agent
Disposal Facility. Work will be performed at Tooele, Utah, and is expected to
be completed by September 3, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Huntsville, Alabama (DACA87-89-C-0076).
AM General Corporation, South Bend, Indiana, is being awarded a $5,563,368
modification to a fixed price with economic price adjustments contract for 309
High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) Expanded Capacity Vehicles
(ECV). Work will be performed in Mishawaka, Indiana, and is expected to be
completed by September 30, 1995. Of
the total contract funds, $937,298 will expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This is a sole source contract initiated on November 29, 1988. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command, Warren, Michigan
(DAAE07-89-C-0998).
NAVY
COMARCO, Inc., Anaheim, California, is being awarded a $54,836,783
ceiling-priced modification to previously awarded contract N00123-91-D-0217 to
exercise an option for life cycle engineering services in support of the
Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS). CASS is the DoD standard
automated test equipment program. This contract also provides life cycle
engineering services for modular remote-piloted vehicles, unmanned aerospace
vehicles, and conventional, chemical, biological and radiological systems and
equipment. Work will be performed in Point Mugu, California, and is expected
to be completed by February 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is
the contracting activity.
Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a
sole source contract to support the Trident II (D5) launcher subsystem. This
contract includes a fixed-price-incentive portion totaling $14,079,676 for the
manufacture and delivery of expendable hardware, and a cost-plus-fixed-fee
portion totaling $235,745 for technical engineering support services for gas
generator hardware. The total value of the contract is $14,315,421. Work will
be performed in Sunnyvale, California, and is expected to be completed by July
1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems
Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-95-C-0021).
United Defense Limited Partnership (UDLP), Armament Systems Division,
Minneapolis, Minnesota, is being awarded a $20,645,028 firm-fixed-price
contract for fabrication, assembly, and test of canisters for the MK 41
vertical launching system. Work will be performed in Aberdeen, South Dakota,
and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds in the amount
of $1,524,262 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract
was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers
received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting
activity (N00024-95-C-5305).
PRC, Inc., McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $5,936,284 modification to
previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-6430 to exercise an option for
technical and engineering services in support of DDG 51 and CG 47 Class ships.
Work will be performed in Arlington, Virginia, and is expected to be completed
by March 1996. Contract funds in the amount of $278,927 will expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C.,
is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
CAE-Link Corporation, Binghamton, New York, is being awarded a $17,056,994
cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and research support for the
Armstrong Laboratory Aircrew Training Research Division. The work will be
performed at Mesa, Arizona. Contract is expected to be completed March 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Fifty-one bids were solicited and four proposals were received. The
solicitation was issued June 1994 and negotiations were completed February
1995. The Human Systems Center, Brooks Air Force Base, Texas, is the
contracting activity (F41624-95-C-5011).
RCF Information Systems, Incorporated, Fairborn, Ohio, is being awarded a
$5,710,093 indefinite delivery contract for support services from 1 April 1995
through 30 September 1995 for computer and communication system at the Wright
Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Contract is expected to be
completed September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. One hundred and eight bids were solicited and seven
proposals were received. The solicitation was issued March 1994 and
negotiations were completed February 1995. The Aeronautical Systems Center,
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity
