DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
National Beef Packing Company, Kansas City, Missouri, is being awarded a
$33,875,838 firm fixed price contract to provide 17,960,012 pounds of fresh
beef items for resale in commissary stores. Sixty-eight proposals were
solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Seward County,
Kansas, and is expected to be completed by March 1996. Funds will not expire at

Sam Kane Beef Processors, Inc., Corpus Christi, Texas, is being awarded an
estimated $23,777,177 firm fixed price contract to provide 12,489,816 pounds of
fresh beef items for resale in commissary stores. Sixty-eight proposals were
solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Corpus Christi,
Texas, and is expected to be completed by March 1996. Funds will not expire at
the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center,

IBP, Inc., Dakota City, Nebraska, is being awarded a $5,861,177 firm fixed
price contract to provide 3,155,147 pounds of fresh beef items for resale in
commissary stores. Sixty-eight proposals were solicited and four were received.
Work will be performed in Emporia, Kansas, and is expected to be completed by
March 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense
Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting
activity (SPO300-95-D-MO16).
ARMY
Harris Corporation, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded a not-to-exceed
$5,000,000 modification to a firm fixed price and time and materials contract
for MT antenna refurbishment material. The antenna at each heavy
terminal/medium terminal used in the Defense Satellite Communications System
will be upgraded and refurbished. The contractor will examine the
antenna and repair or replace worn or inoperable parts (due to aging). This
effort will extend the field life of the antenna by fifteen years. Work will
be performed in Melbourne, Florida, and is expected to be completed by December
31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 60 bids solicited on June 17, 1991, and 4 bids received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command,
Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-92-C-A507).
C O R R E C T I O N
Contract DAAH01-95-C-0106 announced March 10, 1995 incorrectly listed the
percentages of work to be performed. The contract announcement should have
read as follows:
Rockwell International Corporation, Duluth, Georgia, is being awarded a
$6,597,043 cost plus fixed fee contract for depot maintenance and test
equipment refurbishment (repair of Hellfire missiles and seekers). Work will
be performed at Anniston Army Depot, Alabama (10%), and Duluth, Georgia (90%),
and is expected to be completed by May 15, 1997. Of the total contract funds,
$745,225 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole
source contract initiated on October 26, 1994. The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-95-C-0106).
NAVY
IBM Corporation, Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded a $20,543,000
modification to previously awarded contract N00019-91-C-0068 for further
upgrade of the AN/USQ-78(V) display control unit in the P-3C Upgrade III
aircraft. Work will be performed in Manassas, Virginia (95%), and Owego, New
York (5%), and is expected to be completed by April 1998. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems
Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
Defense Research, Inc., Naples, Florida, is being awarded a $6,517,090
modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0031 to exercise an
option for 9,346 Sidewinder missile wing assemblies for the U.S. Air Force
(21.5%), and the governments of Taiwan (27%), Korea (14%), Finland (11%),
Singapore (.5%), Malaysia (2%), and Turkey (24%), under the Foreign Military
Sales Program (FMS). Work will be performed in Naples, Florida, and is
expected to be completed by February 1997. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington,
D.C., is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Lockheed Corporation, Lockheed Fort Worth Company, Fort Worth, Texas, is being
awarded a $5,888,500 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. This contract provides for
cost and design data integration in support of Integrated Product and Process
Development. The goal of this effort is to reduce manufacturing cost for Joint
Advanced Strike Technology. The work will be
performed at Fort Worth, Texas. Contract is expected to be completed July
1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Ten proposals received. The solicitation was issued December 1994 and
negotiations were completed March 1995. The Wright Laboratory,
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity
(F33615-95-C-5526).
Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, Incorporated, Sunnyvale, California, is
being awarded a $16,746,162 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee
contract. This contract provides for 130,000 hours of anomaly resolution
support for the Milstar communication satellite network. Contract is expected
to be completed December 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Space and Missile Systems Center (AFMC), Los Angeles
Air Force Base, California is the contracting activity (F04701-83-C-0025,
