AIR FORCE

IBM Corporation, Federal Systems Company, Owego, New York, is being awarded a $25,500,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for a schedule adjustment to the installation of electronics and avionics equipment on the MC-130H aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed June 1995. Contract funds of $25,500,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-83-C-0264, P00252).

Martin Marietta Technologies, Incorporated, Electronics and Missiles Division, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a $26,000,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for long lead funding for 23 navigation pods for the Low Altitude Navigation Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) system. Contract is expected to be completed June 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Israel. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94-C-0043, P00003).

McDonnell Douglas, Transport Aircraft, Long Beach, California, is being awarded a $175,200,000 (Not-to-Exceed) firm-fixed-price contract for long lead items and work needed to maintain a delivery schedule for the C-17 Lot VIII (FY96) production buy of eight aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed August 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was solicited. The solicitation was issued September 1994 and negotiations were completed December 1994. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Fairborn, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94-C-2251).

McDonnell Douglas Government Aerospace, Transport Aircraft, Long Beach, California, is being awarded a $13,181,054 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the development and incorporation of configuration changes to the defensive systems on five C-17 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed February 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Fairborn, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-81-C-2108, P00667). Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronics Systems Division, Hawthorne, California, is being awarded a $8,000,000 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive-firm contract for repair of the Inertial Measurement Unit applicable to the Peacekeeper Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds of $8,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Rockwell International Corporation, Autonetics Division, Anaheim, California, is being awarded a $9,634,723 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering and maintenance support for the guidance and control system of the Peacekeeper Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. The work will be performed at Anaheim, California, and at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds of $9,634,723 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Northrop Grumman Corporation, Military Aircraft Division, Hawthorne, California, was awarded on March 14, 1995 a $172,678,905 firm-fixed-price contract for various replacement structural components applicable to the RF/F-5 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed October 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fifty-four bids were solicited and one proposal was received. The solicitation was issued March 1994 and negotiations were completed February 1994. This contract is in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to the following countries: Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Greece, Honduras, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Norway, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Venezuela and Yemen. The San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-95-D-0179).

Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronics Systems Integration Division - Electronic Weapons Systems, Rolling Meadows, Illinois, was awarded on March 14, !995 a $140,902,270 firm-fixed-price contract for 60 AN/ALQ-135 Electronic Countermeasures Systems applicable to the F-15C aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued June 1994 and negotiations were completed December 1994. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94-C-2054).

ARMY

Harris Corporation, Melbourne, Florida, was awarded on March 14, 1995, a not-to-exceed $5,500,000 modification to a firm fixed price and time and materials contract for test, measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) spares and the Scaler Network Analyzer (SNA) sweeper engineering change proposal (ECP). The antenna at each heavy terminal/medium terminal used in the Defense Satellite Communications System will be upgraded and refurbished. This ECP will integrate SNA, sweep generators, accessory kits, workstations, waveguide calibration kits, SNA calibration kits and TMDE rack modifications. Work will be performed in Melbourne, Florida, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 60 bids solicited on June 17, 1991, and 4 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-92-C-A507).

General Dynamics Land Systems, Tallahassee Operations, Tallahassee, Florida, was awarded on March 14, 1995, a $10,429,531 modification to a firm fixed price with reliability award fee contract for 20 Pre-pilot Receiver/Transmitters, 50 Generation 1 Receiver/Transmitters, and 50 Generation 2 Receiver/Transmitters for System Improvement Program (SIP) Pilot Production radios, part of the Single Channel Ground and Airborne System (SINCGARS). Work will be performed in Tallahassee, Florida, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 2 bids solicited on August 20, 1993, and 2 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB-07-94-C-C402).

NAVY

Martin Marietta, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, New Jersey, is being awarded a $73,523,478 cost-plus-award-fee level-of-effort contract (N00024-95-C-5159) for AEGIS Combat System (ACS) Baseline Upgrade and Critical Experiment Development. Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by March 2000. No contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division, Groton, Connecticut is being awarded a $8,995,141 firm-fixed-price-contract (N00024-95-C-8502) for the advance planning and execution of the Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRA) of USS BATFISH (SSN 681) and USS BILLFISH (SSN 676) to include alterations, repair, maintenance and testing. Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut and is expected to be completed for USS BATFISH and USS BILLFISH by June and August 1996, respectively. All contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and one offer received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

Hughes Space and Communications, El Segundo, California, is being awarded a $7,363,329 modification to previously awarded contract (N00039-88-C-0300). This modification will incorporate Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 23R-1 into the contract for the Ultra-High Frequency Follow-on Satellite (UHF F/O) at a not to exceed price of $9.8 million. Work will be performed in El Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed by December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of this fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively awarded in 1988. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, Tactical Aircraft & Missile Systems, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $91,577,049 cost-plus-incentive fee contract for Stand-off Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM-ER) Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD). The contract is being funded incrementally with the first imcrement of $12,927,049 (FY95 RDT&E) being awarded today. Work will be performed in St. Charles, Missouri (78.9%), St. Petersburg, Florida (13.9%) and Melbourne, Florida (7.2%), and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00019-95-C-0121).
