ARMY
Bulova Technologies, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $10,675,136
modification to a firm fixed price contract for 113,228 M762 fuzes in support
of the 105mm mortar. Work will be performed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is
expected to be completed by December 31, 1996. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on May
23, 1994, and two bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army

Harris Corporation, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded a $9,278,977
modification to a firm fixed price and time and materials contract to exercise
various contract line options under Option Year II: the purchase of five
modification work order kits and various hardware items to refurbish the
heavy/medium terminals, AN/ESC-78, AN/ESC-79, and AN/GSC-39 used in the Defense
Satellite Communication System. Work will be performed in Melbourne, Florida,
and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1997. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 60 bids solicited on
June 17, 1991, and four bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S.

Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York, is being awarded an $11,338,350 firm
fixed price contract for the manufacture and support of 100 120mm M256 cannons
for use on the U.S. Army M1 Upgrade Phase II. Work will be performed at
Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York, and is expected to be completed by
May 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal

Alliant Techsystems, Incorporated, Hopkins, Minnesota, is being awarded a
$3,407,250 increment as part of a potential value $5,313,138 (if option is

Raytheon Company, Bedford, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $750,000
modification to a $5,388,202 (potential value $13,921,729 if option is
exercised) cost plus fixed fee/cost plus incentive fee contract for The Army
Combined Arms Weapon System (TACAWS) Imaging Infrared Seeker Design Definition
Program, Phase I and Technical Demonstration Program, Phase II. Work will be
performed in Bedford, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by April
30, 1997. Of the total contract funds, $1,138,202 will expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were 100 bids solicited on October 10, 1993,
and four bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Quigg Brothers-McDonald, Incorporated*, Aberdeen, Washington, was awarded on
March 23, 1995, a $5,000,000 increment as part of a $6,265,000 (potential value
$6,305,000 if one option is exercised) firm fixed price contract for
construction of a levee system of about 4.2 miles in length, and creation of
approximately 3.2 acres of inter-tidal wetlands. The levee/flood wash will be
an average of five to seven feet above the existing adjacent floodplain and
will include pile-supported, reinforced concrete culverts with tide gates,
vehicle and railroad crossing closure gates, approximately 4,700 lineal feet of
steel sheetpile floodwall, and landscaping. Work will be performed on the
levee system, which is located along the Chehalis River, between the cities of
South Aberdeen and Cosmopolis, in the state of Washington, and is expected to
be completed by November 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were 235 bids solicited on January 27, 1995,
and six bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Seattle, Washington (DACW67-95-C-0035).
AIR FORCE
T.Q. Machining Incorporated, Muskegon Heights, Michigan, is being awarded a
$5,691,467 (estimated) firm-fixed-price-indefinite-quantity contract for 41,483
(best estimated quantity) High Pressure Turbine Shrouds for the F101 engine
applicable to the B-1B aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed November
1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Nine bids were solicited and five proposals were received. The solicitation
was issued in October 1994 negotiations were completed in February 1995. The
Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (AFMC), Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems Division, Marlborough, Massachusetts, is
being awarded a $19,881,210 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for 24 months of
software maintenance support for the Milstar Air Force Terminal design effort.
Contract is expected to be completed 24 months after contract is awarded.

NAVY
Ceridian Corporation, Bloomington, Minnesota, is being awarded a $12,619,683
fixed-price delivery order under an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
requirements contract for 129 kits for the upgrade of AN/AYK-14(V) airborne
mission computers for the F/A-18 aircraft. Work will be performed in
Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is expected to be completed by October 1996.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This

General Dynamics Corporation, Electric Boat Division, Groton, Connecticut, is
being awarded a $99,000,000 maximum-priced modification to previously awarded
contract N00024-91-C-2902 to provide long lead materials for the third and
final ship of the SEAWOLF Class, SSN 23, in order to meet current schedule and
preserve the nuclear submarine industrial base. Work will be performed in
Groton, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by January 1998. Contract
funds will not expire at the of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems

GNB Industrial Battery Company, Lombard, Illinois, is being awarded a
$5,728,406 firm-fixed-price contract for the acquisition of Guppy I MOD E-type
Advanced Submarine Batteries (ASB-49), spare cells, sample cells, engineering
services, and associated data. Work will be performed in Kankakee, Illinois,
and is expected to be completed by December 1995. Contract funds will not
