DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bindley Western Drug Company, Shelby, North Carolina was awarded on March 29, 1995, a $32,632,380 firm fixed price modified requirement contract to provide pharmaceutical products under the Prime Vendor, Pharmaceuticals program. One hundred proposals were solicited and five were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 28, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Puerto Rico Sun Oil Company, Yabucoa, Puerto Rico was awarded on March 29, 1995, a $19,825,920 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide F-76 fuel. Three hundred fifty proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Sun Company, Inc. (R&M), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was awarded on March 29, 1995, a $40,607,550 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide JP-8 fuel. Three hundred fifty proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work will be performed in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1996. Exxon Company, U.S.A., Houston, Texas was awarded on March 29, 1995, an estimated

$159,493,624 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide JP-5 and JP-8 aviation turbine fuels. Three hundred fifty proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. ARMY

McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, Huntington Beach, California, is being awarded a $25,950,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 16 mast mounted sight systems to support the Kiowa Warrior OH-58D Helicopter. Work will be performed in Monrovia, California, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on January 12, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-94-C-0152).

Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is being awarded a $14,793,969 modification to a firm fixed price contract for M977 series Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTT); 67 M985 cargos with winch, 6 M978 tankers with winch, 5 M984A1 wreckers, and 6 M983 cargos. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Hercules, Incorporated, Hercules Aerospace Company, Wilmington, Delaware, is being awarded a $12,419,616 modification to a cost plus award fee contract for the operation and maintenance of a government owned/contractor operated facility. Work will be performed at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant, Radford, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1995. McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, Mesa, Arizona, is being awarded a $51,000,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract to increase funding for Lot 12, purchase of 20 Apache Helicopters. ITT Corporation, Aerospace/Communications Division, Fort Wayne, Indiana, is being awarded a $145,764,166 firm fixed price with reliability award fee contract for 18,601 R/T 1523C receiver/transmitters, 10,230 AM-7238 power amplifiers, and 11,187 AM-7239 vehicular adapters with associated spares and data for the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS). Work will be performed in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Honeywell, Incorporated, Military Avionics Division, Minneapolis, Minnesota, is being awarded an $11,813,870 firm fixed price contract for 667 RT-11150 Receiver-Transmitters and 183 RT-1411A Receiver-Transmitters for the radar altimeter used to determine height of aircraft above ground. Work will be performed in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and is expected to be completed by July 30, 1998. Of the total contract funds, $1,889,828 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. General Dynamics Land Systems, Tallahassee Operations, Tallahassee, Florida, is being awarded a $128,505,873 firm fixed price with reliability award fee contract for 15,219 R/T 1523 receiver/transmitters, 8,370 AM-7238 power amplifiers, and 9,153 AM-7239 vehicular adaptors, for the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS). Work will be performed in Tallahassee, Florida, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 1997. Of the total contract funds, $78,194 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Robotic Systems*, Westminster, Maryland, is being awarded a $57,577,754 (multi-year) firm fixed price contract for 267 M56 smoke generators, 112 XM58 smoke generator components, pre-production evaluation, and M56 and XM58 spare parts and warranty. Work will be performed in Westminster, Maryland, and is expected to be completed by March 31,

2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 70 bids solicited on November 22, 1994, and 9 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Chemical and Biological Defense Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland (DAAM01-95-C-0034).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Martin K. Eby Construction Company, Incorporated, Bedford, Texas, is being awarded a $900,000 increment as part of an $8,583,355 firm fixed price contract for construction of the San Antonio River Tunnel, Unit 8-5-1, Phase IV, Part 2 - San Antonio Outlet Structure. Work will be performed in San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed by October 10, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. NAVY

Neptune Sciences, Inc., Slidell, Louisiana, is being awarded a $7,578,407 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for littoral systems and models research. Work will be performed in Slidell, Louisiana (70%), Reston, Virginia (15%), and San Diego, California (15%), and is expected to be completed by September 1995. The contract performance period is four years. Contract funds in the amount of $309,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). The Naval Research Laboratory, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, is the contracting activity (N00014-95-C-6004).

Computer Sciences Corporation, Applied Technology Division, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $5,318,516 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity-type contract with a time and materials pricing arrangement for systems development and lifecycle support for the Advanced Combat Direction System (ACDS) program. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by April 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. ITT Federal Services Corporation, Colorado Springs, Colorado, is being awarded a $12,748,456 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract for engineering/operation and maintenance for real property, equipment, grounds and roads in the Army military community of Kaiserslautern, Germany. The work will be performed at Kaiserslautern, Germany. Contract is expected to be completed September 2000. Contract funds of 4.4 million will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fifteen bids were solicited and four proposals were received. The solicitation was issued in October 1994 and negotiations were completed in March 1995. Martin Marietta Astro Space Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $5,278,418 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Phase II of the Service Life Extension Program for the Defense Satellite Communication System. Contract is expected to be completed January 1996. Contract funds of 4 million will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued October 1994 and negotiations were completed in January 1995. Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Systems Division, Rolling Meadows, Illinois, is being awarded a $8,995,760 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for repair of 115 Band 8 Traveling Wave Tubes applicable to the AN/ALQ-161A electronics countermeasure system on the B-1B aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed October 1995-May 1996. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was solicited and one proposal was received. Roxco Limited, Brandon, Mississippi, is being awarded a $8,363,148 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for construction of 90 units of military family housing and demolition of 88 existing housing units at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Contract is expected to be completed July 1996. Contract funds of 1,800,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fifty bids were solicited and four bids were received.
